JillyIsJustKidding
Almost a year ago, I bought a green pumpkin hookah.Lets say I didn't exactly take care of it and about a month later, it rusted My father tells me the stem of the hookah is made of chrome so maybe that might help. There is rust in the heart and there is no way I can reach in there to clean out the rust.Does anyone know of any good remedies for rusted chrome? Like, I just dump the hookah stem in the solution and let it sit or something? Lol if there is ANYTHING like that, that is.Any help is greatly appreciated
mattarios2
There is no way you can get to it for sure? I would say take a hanger, and bend it out so it is long, and wrap a shit load of aluminum around it, and rub the rust with the aluminum wrapped hanger and it will take off all the rust.I have done this in the past, not with hookahs but when other things rust, you just ball up some aluminum and rub it on the rust vigorously and it pulls it right off.In terms of soaking it in something, I am not too sure what would work, sorry. Stuie
Jilly head to home depot or lowes and get some Naval Jelly. Originally designed to take rust off naval ships this stuff works like a dream. I have used it on other things. Clean it good afterwards and you are set.
Bulldog_916
CLR. You just have to make sure you rinse it several times afterwards. Soak it for a few hours, take a toothbrush or something and scrub the inside, then rinse.
