oolatec
Wrap it in foil and poke a hoke in the middle just like the glass screen?Anyone willing to try? Heck, it might even generate more heat...
Stuie
I might try it this weekend. Only problem is mine is as dirty as heck. Getting to lazy to clean it.
oolatec
Well then, how about someone with a clean screen. lol jk
AKammenzind
For that matter why not just form a big square of foil into the same shape as a glass screen, then smoosh it over the bowl and it's business as usual? Somehow I've never thought to try that... maybe once my throat's doing well enough to smoke I'll give it a shot!Edit: wanted to make clear that I mean to omit the glass screen entirely, and see how it works out. MrMoodz
With my glass screens, I have them soak in water first before trying to clean them.
Wharbone
My glass screen looks like shit now. I've used Scotch Brite pads and SOS pads to clean it. They left a ton of small scratches. It almost looks like it has been sand blasted.I may try some foil under the glass. That would help out a lot.
hookah hippie
I am not sure if it would work because foil is not nearly as good of a conductor for heat as glass

Bulldog_916
The whole point of the glass screen was not to use foil and now you're using foil anyway? What is the point behind the glass screen then?
Click
Just seems to me that the glass screen with glass phunnel doesn't make enough heat.
