HookahDuck
The second link is broken... as for the first- that seems rather expensive. IMO, there IS a noticable difference in hookahs smaller than 16-18 inches. However, some people disagree. And pulling syrup up the hose? Im sorry, I dont understand. HookahEnthusiast
hey caterpillar....my friend has the mini hookah from the first link and ive smoked out of it several times and i cant think of any real complaints against it....surprsingly you can get nice thick long draws from it and as long as u get the amount of water in the base down after practicing a bit theres no problem with water getting in the hose or syrup for that matter....overall an excellent quick, portable smoke

ataneja
Yeah, I agree with Johnny_Z. I saw that "Crown" hookah online too and wondered about it. It has to be the exact same one. The QT smokes great. I bought four varieties of Fumari Maasell last week, and it comes out great. Definitely recommend putting ice in the base, and you'll have cool smoke for a long time! Enjoy! HookahCaterpillar
Well actually now that my school has given me permission to smoke shisha on campus im not going with a mini hookah at all. They are strictly for portability and in my experience never hit as good as a full size. But out of the mini hookahs Taqseem's baby junior hookah is by far the best.(in my opinion)
methodical13
alright, I finally have something substantial to offer this topic. My QT Mya came in this morning, and I got a little breakfast smoke in with it.. As far as quality, and asthetics, it is very nice. Beautiful glass base and the stem is sturdy. It goes together and comes apart real easily, and it was by far the easiest to clean. As far as smoke, I had a bowl of AF double apple and it hit very well without any leaks. It doesn't get quite as thick a draw as my larger hookahs, but as far as a mini, that is easy to transport its great. Its also perfect for a quick solo smoke at the end of the day. It also came with a metal cage thing for carrying it.. So long story short, anyone interested in a mini, you should look into the QT...
HookahDuck
Im strongly thinking about the QT for simple solo-smoking while doing homework and the like. My Egyptian really needs to be retired- its covered in duct tape, and I cant get the damn thing to seal up for the life of me.
HookahDuck
Ugh... I REALLY want one of those MYA Bohemian numbers with the case though. But for more than twice as much...Decisions decisions.I already have my Stargate for entertaining purposes (though now I really want a spider). I'll probably end up with the QT simply for the price. *shrug*
methodical13
dude, thats exactly why I got the QT. I have a Bohemian style one thats great to smoke with for people being over, and a Stargate to look at. The QT is for chilling in the apartment by myself doing homework or playing Halo 2 online! HookahDuck
Yeah, I think I'll go with the QT and toss my egyptian. Ahh the memories.. It'll be sad to watch my first hookah go I planned on buying the Bohemian for solo-smoking, but I guess why spend the money if I'll pretty much be the only person seeing it. The QT will also be much more portable (too bad it doesnt have a samsonite case). My following purchase will be a spider, and then finally a Bohemian MYA (They're just... wow. )
HookahCaterpillar
I dont understand why the different hookahs for different purposes? Im not bashing im just wondering why? I use a nice sized egyptian hookah for solo and for when buddies are smoking shisha with me. Sometimes i will use a smaller bowl if i want a quick smoke and dont want a bunch of shisha wasted though. QT sounds nice ill add that one to my list of possible hookahs to buy.
jmexx
I just recently bought a tiny hookah, about 10 inches with the bowl and I love it. For the size, it's a champ. I use my MYA hose with it. The vase is plastic and the pipe is similar to a MYA but whatever. It's a chinese hookah but still does the job and I must say a decent copy of a MYA.Jon

It just happens that some are better for some things. Honestly, I really only use one cosistantly, but its nice when people come over, to show off the hookah collection
yashman19
I typically use my single hose egyptian when I'm smoking alone, use the stargate when I have another person over, and then the spider when I have multiple people over.
HookahDuck
The stargate is rather difficult to clean- and being that I have a 2 hose'd one, there is no purge valve. I have to pull the plug and put it back in every time I set the hose down for any length of time. So, its not all that desirable to use when I am doing homework and would enjoy a quick smoke. It'd be nice to just a have a mini (such as the QT) that is very easy to set up and clean to use just for that purpose. That way I can leave my stargate clean and on display until i'm entertaining guests.
