What Shisha To Order..

Whats up. Im getting ready to place and order with hookah-shisha for a nammor hose, phunnel bowl, coconaras, and maybe some shisha. Up till now ive been using cheap quiklights that i got with my hookah "package," and the standard cobra hoses. ...blah... Well tomorrow is my birthday and Im ordering some damn hookah shit.

Basically I want to see people would reccommend for a good tasting, not harsh tobacco. Ive been smoking Fantasia since ive had my hookah but its not doing to much for me. Its not bad but I think there is better stuff out there. I want to pick up maybe some Tangiers, or SB. Seems like everyone loves those brands. Only thing Im worried about with Tangiers is that seems some people have problem with it the first few trys.

Ive never tried any mint flavor but ever seems to love blue mist. Im up in the air on what shisha I want to order.. Tangiers Peach seems likes a flavor that would be delicious

Anyways just looking for some advice.

If you like peach, go for Nakhla Peach. Tastes fabulous... like an overload of those peach ring candies, plus a nice buzz.

If you're new I'd stay away from Tangiers until you're better with heat management (or just go for it, why not eh?) And Starbuzz just isn't worth the money...

There's so much to recommend. Try these brands:

If you've never tried mint you should get AF mint. It pairs with pretty much everything else so you can use it as a mixer with whatever else you get also

May as well order a 250 of some lucid tangiers just so you can play with it and who knows, you may nail it the first time! I'd recommend some kashmir cherry, horchata, or blue gumball for starters. Other than that, anything by Al Fakher (especially grape, peach, vanilla, mint, cola, golden straw & esk apple). A lot of people will recommend starbuzz I'm sure, but I would skip it. Too expensive for a cheap, artificial, chemical flavor that doesn't last long at all. (Good if you like big clouds.. they use enough glycierin.) Nakhla is a good strong choice too.

for a nonharsh flavor im a huge fan of al waha 5 star. its a sweet, sugary kind of fruitcandy flavor.

Watch out with Nakhla, I personally love a few of the flavors (mandarin is a favorite) but it is unwashed and it can knock you on your ass with the buzz. So if your looking for a buzz free smoke go with another brand.
Try AF! Mint and Vanilla are amazing mixers and they've got other great flavors you can smoke alone or mix.
AF is definitely the best value for the shisha.

Im smoking some Fantasia pink lemonade and it just doesnt have any taste. Im really SOL till my order comes because im ran out of coals besides the Romman Lemonwood i got.

Ill look into AF.

If you want to break your Tangiers virginity, but are afraid of the roughness of it, try some lucid...washed line, less nicotine. All of the flavors of Tangiers I have tried, have been fantasmic.

Otherwise, Nakhla is cheap but fantastic.
You said you smoke Fantasia...overpriced but IMHO worth it for the flavor, keep it up
Al Waha, good flavors, great buzz, some too artificial(had a few taste like medicine)
I like Starbuzz but do not think its worth the money.
Only had Romman a few times, liked it, cant give my opinion...
Potion...Messy, but great stuff, little bit fussy to work with too.

Well I think i may have found the reason I havent had much success... I just borrowed my buddys Mya Razo(?) WHOOO. Big different from my eqyptian. It pulls way easier and the smoke clouds are twice as thick. Im smoking some of starbuzz and it has much more flavor then the fantasia. Im going to order a Mya QT tonight. From what ive read it is a very nice hookah for the price. Any recommendations on a small 2 hose hookah for the same price range?

I think some tangiers, a nammor hose and good coals are going to take smoking to the next level. Im still not getting the flavor out of the fantasia on the mya as I would hope. Im still a newb on heat control tho.

I think im going to order some tangiers lucid. I cant find the damn blue myst anywhere. everywhere is out of stock. ugh.. Well a phunnel bowl give me better flavor? Edited October 27, 2008 by tweek

The vendor is unfortunately banned here due to the name of the company, but I'll pm you the link. They are actually a local shop to me, nice guy, plenty of hookah stuff in stock. You could even order your Razan hose and any other shisha you want from them.

These guys have taken care of most of the good recommendations but more can't hurt, right? hehe

Tangiers--Sour, Blueberry, Indigo Flower ("New" flavor but really great) Don't worry too much about your set up...if you watch the videos on here. 2 Coco's on a medium phunnel is a good place to start. But, seriously, watch the videos here. They helped me so much.

Al Fahker-Just try something from them, they're very good. I would steer clear of the grape though. Buy mint!

Fantasia--A little expensive but very good.

Nahkla--Mandarin Orange, Lemon (Strong buzz and very cheap)

Fumari--VERY expensive (9 for 100grams) but just buy a pack and keep it to yourself. I hide mine from my roommates. haha
