Zinite
I'm going to be traveling in a few months and would like to have a small hookah (<20") to bring with me in my luggage. I figured that an Acrylic base is probably a better choice considering how luggage is treated at the airport. I've been looking around, and see some Mya's that are $70-$100 with an Acrylic base. Is this about what I'd expect to pay for something like this? I'd like for it to smoke well... any other Acrylics besides Mya that are up to the task? Thanks in advance

I'd expect the pull to be lacking because of it's size.
Hippo_Master
I use my Qt quite a bit, and i always get huge clouds with everything i smoke out of that i set up. The pull will obviously be more constricted, but not cause of it's size. It pulls the same as a normal sized Mya, it's just designed differently then a KM or MZ hookah. The cage is pretty cool to carry around as well, but i would try to get a suitcase, as with the Bambino. Which is also a very good choice, and smokes just great. You shouldn't be worried about smoke quality or pull if you 1) Can load a bowl correctly 2)have a chamber that isn't a plated common chamber type. Zinite
Question about the QT:Do Nammor hoses fit easily in the hose ports? In my KM i have to take the grommet out and use a small strip of electrical tape on the hose to get a seal.

SuburbanSmoker
If you dont have to worry about the base breaking, the QT fits all your purposes. People complain about the draw, but if you put a wide hose on like a nammor/razan/km/mya wide, the pull is effortless. nice clouds. easy to clean. compact. and to boot its clean looking and cheap. aethiolas
I have to put in another vote for the QT. I have 2 KMs in addition to my QT and it still sees a lot of action. Its my "desktop" smoke that I use while I'm working. Its easy to setup and pulls like a champ. It doesn't quite have the pull of a km but if u throw a nammor on there the difference isn't a huge deal. Carrying it is simple and the cage protects quite a bit.
