Bye bye now have fun
So over this semester ive dropped a few coals on my off white carpet. Having dark blue carpet last year made the marks almost impossible to tell. So Im asking is there any way to get them out of the carpet?
aethiolas
I wish I knew how...the only thing I can advise is patching the carpet. I'm in the same problem. I personally lay down a huge rug in whatever room I'm smoking but it never fails, everytime a coal falls it will ALWAYS roll off the carpet. I have to find a better solution... drabin
you need to cut out the urned strands and then use cleaner then glue down pieces to cover it up... its hard to do in my opinion im dealing witht he same thing
SimplexCoda
Ok my dad owns his own carpet cleaning business. So this is what he does for minor burns in carpet. If its pretty light then take a razor blade and scrape at the spot, not cut. You try to scrape off the burned fibers and leave the unburned. If you do this right there well be some shorter fibers but it is unnoticable even at close range. If its bad or burned down very low where there would be a dent in the carpet then a patch would be the best bet.
