hookah hippie
I was just wondering a company replaced a hookah that had a bad air leak and sent me one that is damaged on the outside Edited November 1, 2008 by hookah hippie
AKammenzind
Internally myself, because I have the skills to fix that perfectly fine and none would be the wiser... I'd be more bothered altering the appearance of hookah if I could help it.
drabin
it all depends on how bad it was damaged and where i bought it from.
Rayneuki
I'd rather have a little asthetic defect than deal with internal problems. I could probably touch up the astetics (or cover it with something like felt...)
r1v3th3ad
that sucks, I would call them up and bitchbut on topic, I'd rather have looks be damaged just because it will at least smoke well...could always do something new...like paint it or something, dunno. inino
most hookahs that arent chinese usually have slight defects or bends or something in them, im pretty used to it and dont really mind. now a actual problem with the inner working would make me a little upset. mattathayde
QUOTE (inino @ Nov 1 2008, 10:12 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>most hookahs that arent chinese usually have slight defects or bends or something in them, im pretty used to it and dont really mind. now a actual problem with the inner working would make me a little upset.the real this of being hand made has been extended to cover shoty work or shipping damage in the hookah world. if the glass isnt 100% perfect from how it was made, ok, but if there is a chip in it or the paint is chipping thats an issue, if the stem isnt 100% straight, meh ok, if its bent thats shipping damage. if there is corrosion thats an issue i would rather it look off than smoke bad-matt
