Is Km Really That Good?

Recommended Posts

im looking for new shisha pipe. I see that KM is really popular, but i do not really know why. what makes them so appealing??

i smoke 30" syrian and it smokes really well.

but since i have not tried others, can somebody tell me what makes KM so appealing??

i love the al fakher pipe, but if KM is that good, i will go for it since i want pure performance.

I have all 3 you mentioned.

The Syrian was good when it was my only hookah. It was all brass, hit good.

Then I bought the Al fakher hookah. Hit very well and looked amazing.

Then i bought a KM Ice. Hits amazing and looks great.

As you can see, the syrian is way out of the picture. My primary pipes are the KM and my Mya Qt. Even though the Al Fakher hookah is one great hookah, it is my trophy hookah. (it was my 21st bday gift)

So if you were to ask me, upgrading to a KM (specificly ICE model in my opinion. I have smoked out of several diff. KMs) would be a great decision. Edited by racemyghost

The KMs are good pipes. I have an Exotica and love it, but really with a good bowl/shisha/coal and hose setup, you can get any hookah ripping really well. What makes the KMs hit nicely is the wide dowsnstem on them, and their beast of a hose.

KM do live up to reputations but then so do mya, mz, nour and so on.

buying brands is a SAFE way to find quality but if your willing to take a risk you can find an amazing unbranded hookah that smokes just as well but no one else has or will likely ever have.

are you going to play it safe? risk versus reward my friend

KMs have slightly easier draw than your average Egyptian, and pretty decent purge. There's no magic pixie dust in them though tongue.gif

They don't live up to the hype of being some god-sent miracle of narguile, but they're worth the $100-some dollars if you like the style of a particular KM over a $60-some dollar MZ.

KMs have never disappointed me.

Their purging valve is the GREATEST ever built [better than your regular Egyptians], their pull, smoothness, and thunderous rumbling is like no other, and they just simply look great. Not to mention they produce the best hoses in the industry as well.

My favorite part about KMs, they are not quite at all, If you're hitting it, you can feel and hear it.... KM jus brings out all the senses when smoking wub.gif

What this man said. You know when you are smoking a KM because it rumbles. The huge down stem is amazing, the hoses you get with them are amazing (unless you're unlucky like me and get the multicolored hose), and just seeing 40" of goodness sitting in front of you while you get monster hits is just so relaxing.

Before I got my KM Exotica I thought my Sahara-Smoke 3-hose was great. Once I got my KM and perfected how to use it I will never go back. Last time I actually used my Sahara-Smoke hookah was when I went over to UTK to visit a friend and knew there were gonna be quite a few people wanting to smoke so I decided to bring my 3-hoser. As soon as I got that PoS going I remembered how much I loved my beast I had at home. Nobody was complaining about the S-S hookah, infact some people were touting it as one of the best hookahs they had smoked, but I knew how much better my Exotica was.

Sir if you end up getting a KM you WILL NOT be disappointed. << FACT

Thats really odd.... my first hookah was a sahara smoke three hose, then a single hose syrian, then an exotica

I definitely recommend it. I recently got a KM Amoura ("Pear"), and it really is great. While I wouldn't say it's leaps and bounds over the MZ that I've had for a year, even that slight difference is worth it. The attention to detail is noticeably better than most other hookahs I've seen.

Do it!

*Makes his way over to the KM fan club thread as he realizes that he hasn't posted there yet*

Gotta say the Al Fakher pipes don't seem to get much love. They look and smoke fantastic. Never personally smoked a KM, but can say you won't be dissappointed with the Al Fakher.

LOL, the first hookah I ever smoked (which actually got me interested in hookah) was a single hose syrian

I prefer their heavy, sturdy feel to a MZ. Gaia is right, they aren't God-sent miracles on Earth, but they are of very high quality. I would be sure to make one a staple in any pipe collection. If not cause you want to smoke, for the collector's aspect of owning a "Khalil mamoon".

I would say they are equivalent to the Dunhill brand in the pipe-smoking world. smile.gif
