Mirus
Last night was a sad night indeed for me. Today is just as sad because I realize it still happened. Last night, my faithful Social Smoke Pumpkin 'Ghost', broke. Not the base, not the bowl, but the very bottom of the stem. I think it could screw out, but it broke to the point where there is no purchase for me to unscrew from. Ghost has been with me since I started smoking, he was my first hookah. Ah the memories... like that time I decked a guy I had known for over a year because he knocked Ghost over... Or all the Layalina I smoked in Ghost, paying horribly high prices for it. Like $5 for 50gs. I can't decide if I should make a memorial to him, to try to make a new hookah out of his parts.Any suggestions?

Giant Ninja Robot
Definately post before you discard, at worst you can get her working and use her as a backup.Sorry for your loss, perhaps our old beat up hookas will meet in the afterlife and have a beer. Bye bye now have fun
its hard to tell from the pictures but you could glue something into the threading then unscrew it and by a replacement or just solder it onto the the threading only problem is then it wont come off
Giant Ninja Robot
i think it would only rebreak if you solder it that high up and are unscrewing it on the regular. I agree, solder the thing together as is and just fuse the stem to the downstem. Backup hookah.

inino
take needle nose pliers stick them in hole, separate the pliers and twist. the pressure should be enough to untwist the piece that is left inside the shaft.

rigor
Turn your camera's macro mode on so it will focus on the objects within a few feet or less.
liquidglass
hey man I hate to hear that happened but GNR is right man you can always fix it for something.Right now I'm smoking out of my KM that had a base in piece and a small phunnel bowl both that I fixed and made "alive" so I'm sure you can fix the stem too.
