duckhater
Is it a heat harshness or a alcohally harshness (too much flavor burns the throat). I've had problems with Watermelon and Strawberry as of recent with the flavor harshness.
gaia.plateau
How new is the "new" AF? I just received some that I ordered and it's perfect.

srawas89
I have def. Noticed it with the AF watermelon, I mixed a new 50g pack with a slightly older 50g of AF strawberry and the AF watermelon def. gives a tingle to the throat. it really does seem like something new came about with AF but the way you are describing how you are packing and everything seems fine. I think to test whether it really is just the tobacco smoke a session of it out of a normal bowl and if you still get that feeling that it is too strong for the throat but not harsh than it probably is the new AF. gruver
I had this problem with harshness too. The only way I could get the new stuff tolerable at all was to underpack in a standard egyptian. Packing it normally made it burn and get too harsh too easily. I tried two different sized mya bowls, phunnel bowls, even my old stainless bowl off of my hookah brothers hookah. None of those would work. The best part is that the strawberry I got tasted like buttered popcorn, without a hit of strawberry, and my grape had a bologna taste to it. At least the other flavors tasted similar to what they were supposed to.I'm not much of an AF fan after all of that. Clouds of smoke were nice though.
