Sour Apple

Recommended Posts

Hey, Im new to these forums and a lot of you guys have helped me make decisions for my next big purchase. A buddy of mine is in on my order and he wants some sour apple (green apple). I was reading another post but couldnt really get the confirmation i was looking for. Any one know some really well flavoured green apple?

Hmmm...I've only had one that I've liked, but I've only tried one other brand...Nahkla which was fair at best. Al Fakher supposedly makes a great green apple which is generally called eskanderani apple.Oh the brand name of the one I like is...

green apple....i assume with this flavor you want like NO licorice taste?
Al Fakher Golden Seal Eskarandi (sp?) apple is one my fave flavors ever.  some report a bit of a "buttery" or possibly "champagney" type flavor on first smoke, but it grows a ton on you and is in my top 3 or 4 smokes ever....
I have heard really good thinsg about Fumari's Sour Apple, but have never tried it.  hope this helps!

Since i cant edit my other post, does anybody else have any comments on the fakher GS eskanderani apple. I really like Fakher myself, huge fan of their stuff much like King Mo from what i have read. this flavour is for a big fan of the distinct taste of a sour apple and is unfortunately not mainly for me which makes this decision harder

The af Esk apple isn't really a SOUR apple. Merely a green apple with no anise (licorice). Nor is the Tangiers sour. I recall the Hookahbuzz had a sour apple that was well...apply. SOUR isn't a flavour that translates well into Ma'asell I don't think. I do have some  Al-amir Sour apple from Yashman I've yet to try. Perhaps he will be able to shed some light.

yeah usually sour candies and the like are made by putting crystals of .. i am totally unsure, but i think it's citric acid.  some sort of acid... on them.  this directly stimulates tastebuds and nerve endings in the mouth.  i don't think it really vaporizes too well.

Like Mush said, I have Sour Apple from Al Amir, and I really like the
taste, but I would hardly say there is any sourness to it. I just like
it because its an apple flavor with no anise, which is a big turnoff
for me. Although...I am taking a liking to Nahkla's double apple which
has anise. Its not as strong as other brands anise apples.

But just letting you know that I enjoyed Al Amir's sour apple. I would personally give it an 8 out of 10.
