Relatively new to being a regular hookah smoker, have a generic 3 hose and a generic 2 hose. Currently using Romman natural coals and a variesty of Al Waha, Nahkla, and Pharoah's shisha. Just curious on everyone's thoughts of which would be the most important upgrade for better sessions? Phunnel? Better hose? Etc?

the most important upgrade you should make is the tobacco! Phunnels, well they're not really necessary. But I would upgrade to a nammor / razan hose, they're the bomb!

if your using romman natural coals dont downgrade to cocos. a phunnel is a great upgrade, but i think the getting a nammor or a KM hose would probably be my first thing. they give you a nicer pull than generic hoses.

get a phunnel and a hose and it will improve your session greatly. as far as tobacco goes, try out the different brands and see what you like, if you dont mind throwing the money down try starbuzz, if you penny pinch like me then try layalina and al fahker.

if your hoses are crap, do the nammor. if they are fine then i would go with the phunnel. I personally think Al Wala isnt that bad, so ill say worry about tobacco later

I would have to say hose first, but as long as your making and order online, why the hell not just throw in the phunnel, your going to get one eventually anyway weather you like it or not. Save your self some shipping charges and get both ASAP!

You can have good sessions with a soso hose, but not with a soso bowl or bad tobacco. Since nakhla is good enough tobacco (most flavours that is) i'd get the bowl upgrade first, unless your hose had very hard pull or leaks.

I agree with codename.

I never smoke without my phunnel, but my hoses vary. Would rather have a longer, more flavorful smoke than one that i can smoke "Easier"

All the hose can do is help with airflow and in the long run hold old flavors.

Phunnel doesnt hold flavors and make the session better regardless of the hose.

The phunnel will enhance your sessions immensely! And as far as the hoses go just go and get something wide guage. Like a Nammor/Razan Or the far sexier KM hoses!
