Hippo_Master
Sometimes you can, but most of the time it smokes off. Its temperamental as hell in the cold days.
SmokinMoose
I live in Toronto and acclimatize in my house and smoke in my garage. I would suggest you do it inside your house. Edited November 9, 2008 by SmokinMoose

Zyram
Yea, it's gonna take longer than usual when it's cold. I'm in CT right now, and over the summer it'd take 2-3 hours, now it's colder outside and inside (unless we turn on the heat) and it took me about 6-7 hours to acclimate it right. -Z
Hippo_Master
You must acclimate where you will smoke it. In the cold winter, the outside temperature fluctuates and the humidity is usually very low. Inside, you most likely have a climate control system, and your house is most likely at 60-70 degrees, and outside as you stated is a bit colder. By acclimating it inside, it will become acclimated to the humidity and temperature in your home, and when you go to smoke it in the freezing cold it the bowl will suddenly go out or start tasting harsh or burned. By acclimating it outside, the tobacco get's use to one temperature, but then a storm comes along, or the temp. rises considerably, and then it goes through humidity shock and has to re-acclimate itself, and after that your tobacco could most likely be ruined. I have ruined a batch of tangiers, but it's a bit colder where i live.
