Flavoured Milk

Recommended Posts

I was thinking about simmering some mint leaves in milk and then smoking some mint shisha with it in the base (cold of course) Anyone one else experimented with this? I dont want to waste 4L of milk and then have it suck tongue.gif

Keep the ratio 2/3 Water 1/3 Milk at most... milk bubbles will get everywhere, and use a washable hose.

Exactly what I was going to say. Also, keep in mind that it can be a little more cleaning to get milk residue out, especially if it sits in the base for a while during a long session. I imagine this might be a bit worse if you simmered the milk beforehand too.

Currently smoking this lil experiment and it is going amazingly. I ended up doing 1/3 milk like Stuie suggested and I bruised the mint in a mortar, let it sit overnight in the milk and then strained the mint out right before my session. I'm smoking Nahkla mint because sadly that is the only brand of shisha they sell where I live. As for using milk I usually don't but in this case milk takes on flavors so it is the best choice. Its hitting pretty well right now am I'm getting a lasting mint flavor in my mouth. Kinda like chewing mint gum. I've got a washable hose so hopefully cleaning goes alright. Edited by roux58

Wow good on ya for smoking straight nakhla mint. But personally i never bother with putting anything other than water in the base.. never really noticed a difference anyway in the flavor.
