New To The Hookah Scene

Recommended Posts

hey im fairly new to the hookah scene, ive been to hookah bars and smoked hookah with my friends alot but i think i want to break down and buy a hookah of my own. ive been looking on ebay and found some hookahs that i like my question is though what should i look for/look out for when buying a hookah off ebay. Also what do i need to get started? id rather use the quick light coals so which ones would you guys recommend. again complete n00b here so i need a walk through of everything that ill need to get started. i dont have too much to spend id like to keep this under 100 and the hookah i found is 48shipped so can i get everything else i need for under 50?

Welcome, like anyone will tell you its best to not buy off of ebay. as for a hookah under 50, you wont get a good hookah and all the supplies for under 50 unless you go with some crappy hookah and all the accessories.

ive been eyeing this hookah, it looks nice and it will perform well because its a mya (any mya is good)

also you can get a mya QT, which isnt bad.

is that shit or should i go for that mya?

You'd be better off getting a Mya, or an egyptian hookah from an online vendor. Mnhookah, hookah company, and hookah-shisha are all good to check out.

I give that one a 50/50 shot on being good.

If you check out Hookah-Shisha.com you can get some great Mya's. That's where I get mine. Plus it comes with everything you need to get started, coals, tobacco, screen, case, mouthtips, tongs, cleaning rods, and more.

Mya QT is super smooth
Mya Bambino is a Beast
I am so getting an Econo-Mya by the end of the year
Mini Mya is one of my favorites

You can't go wrong with a Mya.

If you want a hookah for under 50 then check out the Mya QT, it smokes really well. For tobacco, you should go with Al Fakher or Nakhla, they're pretty cheap but they are VERY good tobacco.

Quicklights, hmm well people here seem to recommend the Golden coals and Three Kings coals, I personally don't like any quicklighting charcoal. For best smoking experience go with natural coals (Coconaras, Exoticas etc. etc.)

Visit mnhookah.com or thehookah.com or hookah-shisha.com or hookahcompany.com

haha dude that was one of my first hookahs... its alright.. nothing special... its a harder pull than most other hookahs and the hose gets bad REALLY fast... also there isnt a brush made that will go down that stem... well you can force it and completely destroy the brush like I did... not a good idea.... I'd say go for a KM, a Mya, or a MZ.. spend a little more and get a good quality hookah
