For some reason my comp keeps blue screening.right now im using XPProcessor - x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 9 GenuineIntel (celeron) ~ 2.4 GhzMobo- Asus P4S533 Memory- 1 gigDisplay- (Asus) NVIDIA GeForce 6200 256mb ddrEverything else is onboard... if ive missed any info that might help figure this out... just post it here. Heh and im sure some of you will tell me to fix it by Buying a new computer but hey... i cant afford one... so i wanna try to fix this one... Could be anything.blah its set to automatically restart... if it bluescreens i dont remember how to change that...and actually i reinstalled the nic drivers... and it hasn't bluescreened again yet... Voski Posted November 11, 2008 Share Posted November 11, 2008 my friends computer was doing this also. I opened it up and the heatsink had undone itself from the CPU. You might have a bad RAM stick or sector, which would cause a blue screen.heh... well im pretty sure... there was something wrong with my ram considering... the next day i started the comp up... and i smelled a burning smell... powered down as quick as possible... and then checked for what was burning... and the ram smelled like it was burning... so im pretty much done with the comp lol im just gonna use my laptop untill i can build another comp...
