lahmacun
i tried some of that soex strawberry (as the most of yall know it contains NO nicotine and all the other harmfull stuff that you will find in a sigaret)but how eversomething you smoke can never be "healthy" for your lungs rightso maybe its not that bad as normal tabacco, but HOW bad exactly is this for you?what is it that your smoking.......??btw soex strawberry tasted even better then i thought
r1v3th3ad
1. Throw away the SOEX, that stuff is...bleh Anyway, yes, smoking anything is bad. There is no proof that smoking hookah is healthier other than the tests that hookahforum community has run...making a filter in the hose and leaving it in for a session to see no tar.As far as I see it...normal tobacco enters your lungs from burning, and coats them with tar, you're screwed because your body does not have enzymes to break that shtuff down.Hookah smoke isn't exactly being burned. Anyway, you are "evaporating/vaporizing" the juices off of the shisha. Those juices are mostly sugars...so, you have sugar entering your lungs and coating them...that should clear out of there in a few days because your body does have the enzymes for sugar.hope that helps ya.Welcome to the forum, pull up a chair, light up a hookah and stick around a while....and throw out the Soex! Its the fibre thats left after they roll the sugary liquid out of sugar cane. You are bassically smoking wood chips with some molasses and flavour. Now, you figure if smoking wood is any better than smoking tobacco. And welcome!
lahmacun
haha allright thanks !i also use normal tobacco offcrouse(nakhla most of the times)however i do think this herbal stuff is a good alternative i lost people to cancer and everytime i inhale that sweet nakhla apple i got to think about the risks of getting cancer for myselfso in this case the conclusion is i think..that soex is less harmfull right ? just wanna be surebtw forgive me for my grammar english isnt my first language
AKammenzind
Really, we don't know if one is worse than the other cancer-wise. I mean... mashed up sugar cane fibres are bound to be highly carcinogenic when smoked I would think. The only difference we know of for sure is that sugar cane contains no nicotine... but that's not really a huge health concern. Would be interesting to see a study though. the hookah master
I believe there is a secret for Soex. Ive experiment in many ways and found that if you pack the argilla head with 80% soex and then sprinkle some elfakher or nakhla on top then put the aluminium on. It tastes exactly like alfakher or nakhla. The price of Al Fakher and Nakhla is ridiculous. $75 a box of 250 grams when Soex costs $20 a packet of 250 grams.I same big money this way and it tastes great. Giant Ninja Robot
where are you that is costs so much?!?!?!In the states we can get Nakhla for 5 bucks and Al Fakher for as low as 8-9 bucks for a 250g package.

I think you could get it cheaper by ordering it. Or are you counting that as ordered/shipped? Gah, I wouldn't smoke hookah if that was the cost.BTW, Niccotine isn't bad for you. It's just addictive :] it's about as bad for you as caffene.

Again, this is just what I remember reading somewhere.
newjacksm
Carcinogens and Tar is what gets you cancer (I think)
Tom1
Of course it would be tar that would be the worst but I thought nicotine was a carcinogen.

TizaNabi
I've had it before, it was like taking a shower in a scuba diver's wet suit. It IS filtered in the water.
linebacker131
Really random and might sound gross but you could probably drink the water and it might not taste bad. Just a thought...
