He is a really down to earth and nice guy but i too dont think such a name is appropriate when it comes to a traditional pipe such has hookah because the first thing that pops into anyone's head is the narcotic reference. Other than that i trust him as a vendor. That is my thing. I mean I would still buy from him but I don't want a t-shirt or anything. Good guy very informative but the name (while I get that it is attention grabbing) is kind of unfortunate. Though changing your name can be a hassle what with business licensing and all that. Though I guess that depends on whether he is incorporated or not. If so you should always register under a different name and use the opening as line. That way you can do all kinds of stuff. Easier.heck, they dont have to change the name of the legal entity that is the company. Just build a web site with a different name use a different name for an account and they are done.Guys, thanks for discussing this over the past few months. I have taken all of this into consideration and have started a new username and website, hookahjohn.comThanks for those of you that know me for sticking up for me, those of you who don't know me for considering me. I look forward to becoming an active member of this community. ThanksJohn

You actually raised a really good point in regard to the Cola thing...Cheers,JDGuys.... I've talked to John at length because I too objected to the name.... HOWEVER..... In his defense it's Orange County California slang and not remotely drug related. Something I'd even forgotten since I haven't worked or lived in Orange County for a couple years. There are all kinds of food stands, magazine stands, etc., that use the C*****c word in their title. Since he's based in Orange County he went with the local slang not making the connection. Okay, so not the brightest slip in the world but as someone starting a new career in a location where that particular word is on dozens of signs around OC, not really that much of a stretch to not make the connection. It was pointed out to him later by many people including myself. Don't be surprised if down the road he goes with a name change. But he's got hundreds of boxes with that name so naturally he's going to sell them before making any decision about what to do with the name. And I can't certainly don't blame him for that. He's good people making good products. Hopefully he won't be gone from here for too long.'Rani

drabin
john it looks alright. I think it could use a little bit of a facelift and a turn into more of a store than a regular site. the page with shisha nad hookah and the big pictures almost makes it look like were going into photo galleries. But irregardless I'm glad to have you here.
Dom
i like it, man.when are you going to put the Nours on the site?(for those who don't know, John sold those Nours on CH way before Hookah Company did. that's why i suggested he change the name or something.)
