inino
Im not sure if there is a post for this already but im gonna throw it out there since some people could use it.The best way (as far as i know) to clean your vase is with efferdent. yes the denture cleaning stuff. you can find it most grocery stored. if you cant get your hands on efferdent then get alka seltzer. put about 4-6 tablets in the bottom of your vase and fill it with warm water. let it sit a minimum of 2 hours. i usually start in the morning and let it sit all day til im ready to smoke. then take your hose and spray it all out. your vase will be crystal clear, better than new. This removes all odors and that annoying yellow ring that builds up in your vase. it seriously works like magic.you can do the same to your glass bowls.anyways, hope this can help some people. Zinite
Interesting... I'll have to give this a try.
annual
I usually just give it a cleaning after smoking and dont let it sit for too long. I use a palmolive deep cleaning dish soap which doesnt leave a smell or residue and it seems to do the job just fine as well.
OC4111
I might have to try this for my glass screen.
inino
it works like magic. and best of all no horrible chemicals that can be really bad for your body. you wont even need to scrub anything just let it soak and it will sparkle. liquidglass
Hmm sounds like a great idea, but I wonder if it'll work for my nammor hose, that'd be awesome.
Zinite
Put 6 anti bacterial Efferdent tablets in my KM vase with hot water for about an hour and a half. After I rinsed it out, there was no smell left and the ring of build up inside the vase was gone. This will be my go-to method of cleaning from now on. Rayneuki
Yeah that would work. I'm gonna have to get some of that for my QT. You could also get a big bowl (for something small like the qt) and put the stem/bowl head in it with efferdent. I use to use it for my retaner back when I had one
liquidglass
well I just used it on my base, stem, and Nammor (washable obviously) hose. It worked wonders for the base (ring inside) did a great job on the stem, and marvelous things for the hose's plastic tips. However the hose was only so/so it didn't mess anything up just didn't get all the "smell" of flavor out of it. So I'm thinking once or twice more should have that covered, great idea. No smell unlike vinegar so thumbs up!
indian_villager
Just get a good sturdy vase brush and warm water. I've just been using that since last feb on my KM and the base retains no odors or this funky rink that ya'll are growing!
Voski
I just put some mouthwash and fill it to the rim with water and let it sit for a while then rinse it out a few times and its fresh.
Sonthert
I usually just use water and a brush. Good tips though. They give me ideas.
MechAnt
I still think the greatest way to clean my vase is using a little bit of beer! I have yet to find anything else that comes close to the odor removing powers of a little bit of beer.
TizaNabi
I've used many times in the glass dish liquid, sometimes baking soda even easier to rinse, but a baby bottle brush is great alone with warm water.( Buy a new one for your baby.) NUBBS
Starbucks uses ice water to clean their coffee pots. I just heard that ice water cleans glass and that came up.
