ChexPex
So when i put the coals on (ql cocos) and they work great for the first 15 or so minutes.... the smoke is thick as it can ever be and im really happy. However after this 15 minute period the coals are still there... ive been rotating then.. but the smoke just suddenly dies 0.0 any ideas?
modisess
try the natural ones first? or maybe the holes on your foil is blocked by the ashes from the coals.
Stuie
They are quicklights and don't always stay at optimal heat. Bust out that windcover man!

modisess
QUOTE (ChexPex @ Nov 16 2008, 10:19 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>what will the windcover do?i stops heat from escaping, so even when using a coal that is half way used you can still generate enough heat to get good smoke. mushrat
If you put on fresh ones does the flavour come back?Is the smoke harsh near the end?is your tobacco burnt on the top of the bowl and still moist inside in a short period of time?
