Picked it up again with the expansion launch on one of my friend's old accounts, I am running his hunter now, level 70 (yeah, yeah, I'm taking my time and only play 1-2 hours every two days). Thanks to this new expansion, I finally have new stuff to do! The expansion is VERY good though, so much better than BC. I tend to get highly addicted to any FF game you throw my way, or similar rpg. Gotta buy FFX so I can finish it. For that matter I have to finish Kingdom Hearts 2. I got to the last boss and was busy collecting gems to get the final weapons when I got distracted and lost interest. I'm a bigger fan of plot and story advances then leveling up like crazy, though I have been known to take advantage of a good situation to level up for a couple hours at a time now and again.Really looking foward to FF12 when I'm done with 10. Either you don't use gambits, and it's clumsy and unintuitive... or you use gambits, and all you do is move the L stick around while your characters kill everything. No joke, after the first 1/3 of the game you can play the rest of it using your foot to steer the L-stick while smoking a hookah with the hose clenched in your teeth, holding a beer in your left hand and fapping to the rabbit-chick with your right.I really didn't like 10... irritating characters, cumbersome and extremely linear travel system, and a remarkable boring combat system. Also Seymour is possibly the worst villain in an FF game. Yes, worse than Kuja... but maybe not as bad as the random blue blob thing that appears and reveals that he is the "true" final boss right after you defeat Kuja, who has been the antagonist throughout the entire game and dies after you slap him once on the cheek.10-2 had a fantastic job system and good combat... unfortunately everything else about it was horrible, especially the "story". Also team rocket. I own Kingdom Hearts 2, got it for $10 on the recommendation of a friend, never played the first one... I enjoyed the intro but I just couldn't handle the disney stuff. Combat is a bore.For my money, 7 was the best, followed by Tactics, 6, 4, 9, 8. The rest are all "meh" for me. If you haven't played Tactics, do so, now. It has the most interesting story of perhaps any game I've played, if not the most captivating.
