No matter what everyone says, I don't like Argentinians. They are just made of chocolate. I told George this but he won't listen. THEY ARE MADE OF CHOCOLATE!!

Equivalent to the actual quote in probability and credibility. Edited by gaia.plateau

GNU is 100% correct. Out of all you people who were unhappy with the heat being put off by cocos did you try a windscreen. Cocos always work best with a windscreen. I've never had 2 coals last me so long as with the wind screen.

I won't listen? Why would I listen to nonsense? No one else seems to agree that they "taste bad" from our group lol.

I smoke it, no "bad" taste at all, and I am the hookah master...soooooo you lose, and I win.

i get a taste of coconaras too. its not terrible, its still something i dont like though.

Count me in with the oddballs who can taste coconaras. I make sure they are fully lit, too. They DO have a taste that apparently some people can pick up on and others can't.

cocos have a learning curve no doubt IMHO

it took me a few tries to get them to work, didnt have very good luck for 2 or 3 times but then i got them to work fine, the amount you use and the way you need to position them is different than exotics. also its better if you make the holes smaller it seems to work a little better, also make sure you blow them off when when you flip then and before you put them on, if you dont do either of those you will get bits that fall on the shisha and mess it up hard core.

that being said once you learn how to use them they are great coals and they last a lot longer than many other coals

I don't know what else to tell you. Burnt taste = too much heat on the bowl, when I pass you the hose next time we use Cocos, drop a coal off. Dont forget, no one else but you seems to complain about this in our group hahaha so it MUST be you, not the coals >.>

okay, like some have said, cocos shouldn't completely screw you in the level you speak of.is there ANY way your baccy went through some sort of humidity/temperature shock?i mean, you did say you set you garage up. if you stored your tobacco in your house, and suddenly moved it to a completely different climate of the garage, could that pose part of the problem?

I like coco's better than exoticas myself. They ash WAY too much, and it gets all up on my bowl screwing up any leftovers I have for the next day. Not to mention the horrendous smell when I light them. Makes me wonder what is in them, as that smell is far from being natural. cocos smell slightly like a camp fire while they light that that's it. nothing afterwards. They burn very clean, leave extremely light ash, and they are easy to manage heat with. Other than having to flip them alittle more at the beginning, I don't see much swaying me away from them.

Specially not exoticas. I can't believe how much ash comes out of them, let alone that smell. anytime I use them I wonder what I'm burning with them.

ive gotten to the point where i only flip them 2 times in a session and i kill the coals, just make sure you leave a gap between the foil and shisha and it will just make you have huge clouds and no harshness

When I smoke with coconaras, I put a little bit more tobacco when using my regular Egyptian bowl and I use HD foil. So for me it's no gap = no harshness. With a phunnel, I tend to fill up to the rim if not a little bit over.

i always keep a gap when i smoke, it seems to evenly heat better and give bigger clouds for me and gives me less issues with harshness and lets me be really lazy with flipping the coals, plus i save a little extra shisha
