zachslusser
So I was cleaning up my MZ from last nights smoke and when I picked up my rug that the hookah sets on, it was wet. So i started thinking if i spilled anything on it today and i couldn't think of anything so i filled up the base and put it in a bowl and about 25 mins later i went back and there was water in the bowl. Coddamnit. Has this happened to anyone? I have never dropped it before and there are no visable cracks. I am Sad. I will have to buy a new base i guess. Stuie
There's a small crack somewhere. I think MZ bases are solid, no glass welds, mine is so there is probably just the smallest crack somewhere.
inino
ahh man that sucks. if you can find the leak you can probably seal it up with something.

AKammenzind
Well, if the water was cold it could be condensation. Or perhaps there was a little water on the outside of the base that just ended up in the bowl after a while. Trying to think on the bright side, heh. Rayneuki
Easy way to find the leak, put soapy water all over the base, blow air into it. The crack should bubble up.
inino
ya the paper towel idea sounds pretty good. more than likely its going to be on the very bottom or on the bottom rim somewhere.
Hojo
Submerge it upside down in water, so that there is air trapped in the vase. Bubbles will come out of the crack.
acolon_5
Beeswax is a quick fix, but I'm sure there are some adhesives that you can use for a more permenant patch.
FactorE
could be the from the ice if you add ice to your base. my floor is usually always a lil wet after the session because i put alot of ice in the base.
zachslusser
well i dont add ice and well AK i could only wish it was condensation. ima have to try and submerge it and then see where the leak is. its def. a leak.
