ambuletzd2h
Hey everyone, I just signed up to the forum because not many people in my small town smoke hookah and I wanted to get some advice about a phunnel and other hookah related questions in the future. I read up on everything about it pretty much and I saw mnhookah are selling these glass phunnels for like 50 dollars. I just wanted to know if anyone has one, well is it worth it?heres a linkclick here

Bulldog_916
Start with the Tangiers phunnel unless you are just looking to throw some money around or already have experience with the Tangiers phunnel. Bottom line, if you like the look of it, buy it. I love my Tangiers phunnel. I'm getting a mini phunnel soon. Dont need the overpriced jet glass. Just me though. Kathrynx
I agree with Bulldog.A regular phunnel bowl is less likely to break the first time you drop it anyway (which is bound to happen sometime). A small phunnel is the favorite of the forum I believe, the medium is a little too big (but I do own one).We got our glass one much later on, but don't use it much as its a little harder with heat management from time to time.Welcome to the forum! Hippo_Master
Haha i just posted about this in another thread...I say what's the point in spending 60 bucks on a Phunnel that breaks easier and gets grimy ? And uses more coal. When you get a non-glass phunnel, it doesn't get burnt shisha all over it and it won't break. You also don't lose aesthetic value because they aren't intricate like the glass ones, which is probably half the reason anyone buys the bowl anyway. Stuie
Typically I smoke every day and I bust out the Jet Phunnel once a week. Heat Management isn't bad. I love the way it smokes but it's not great for Tangiers, and it can be a pain to clean so Use it for special occasions. You won't be disappointed in the Tangiers Phunnel. I pretty much use them all the exclusively.

They have small, medium, and larges there but you should really stick with the small it lasts about 2-3 hours for me when flipping the tobacco. I'm not saying you can't get it, but it can be frustrating at times.

Anxiety
hmmmm i prefer glass b/c mnh does a great job on customize them so they only hold 20-25 gram's, than you scali mod it and it's like 15 grams. I just bought my first jet funnel and have NO REGRETS what so ever looks so sexy and kicks like a beast. ceramics are just as good but hold a bit more tobacco so unless ur planning on doing long sessions it's kinda a waste of shisha. your call though
Bimmerbro10
Do not get glass. Glass gets hot to fast. Get the nice ceramic ones you wont regret it. And get small. Edited November 22, 2008 by Bimmerbro10
