cpoteet
First of thanks to all of you for helping me get into the hookah culture with a minimal amount of mistakes!I've decided to say goodbye to quick light coals. I just bought these coals and this charcoal holder. What do I need to buy to light these, and how do I actually use them?
modisess
score em, then break them into 1/4. Use either a coil burner or a gas stove to light them.

mattarios2
yes, turn it on and drop the coals on, depends on the kind of coal for how long, my easy lites take 3-4 min one side, 30 seconds on the other side.

inino
ya the coil burner is great for those kinds of coals. you can just light them right on the fly, if you keep the burner right next to where you smoke. they dont take too long to heat up.
