Using Natural Coals

First of thanks to all of you for helping me get into the hookah culture with a minimal amount of mistakes!

I've decided to say goodbye to quick light coals. I just bought these coals and this charcoal holder. What do I need to buy to light these, and how do I actually use them?

score em, then break them into 1/4. Use either a coil burner or a gas stove to light them.

Best hookah related item ever. Keeps my stove top free of charcoal pieces, and lights cocos in 4 minutes.

Do I just put the coals on the burner?

yes, turn it on and drop the coals on, depends on the kind of coal for how long, my easy lites take 3-4 min one side, 30 seconds on the other side.

BEST COIL BURNER EVER!!!!

I bought my first box of coco's and was pissed cause i couldnt get them to stay lit, bought the coil burner and BAM! fully lit coco every time!!!!!

ya the coil burner is great for those kinds of coals. you can just light them right on the fly, if you keep the burner right next to where you smoke. they dont take too long to heat up.
