Bad Box Of Quick Lite Coals

Recommended Posts

I always buy the very best quick lighting" lemon wood " coals in a store in Jerusalem with ten rolls wrapped well 10 to the roll, and as I live near Bethleham I buy 3 boxes. The last box which I am on are just bad news, ruining good shisha.I'll go get more, but anyone have a suggestion to rejuvinate the 80 coals left? The problem is that they don't burn all the way and I am left even with some black exposed. I have one of those bellows to fire them up, but its no good. Any idea might be goodMaybe use them on a picnic!

well first thing i can suggest is stay away from quick lights lol, but if they arent getting red all the way from just a lighter you can probably throw them on the stove for a little bit to finish them off. if you light them and let them sit in your coal tray for like 2 minutes do they get red or no?

No, I wait much longer like 10 or 15 minutes. I've been smoking now 8 years nargilah and this never happened before. 4 years ago I bought a box of exploding charcoal.
I might just go outside and pick up branches of olive trees. Right now its the time of olive picking and pressing. Many of the old wood is cut away for new growth.

He isn't using quick lights its natural lemon wood coals. Try flipping the coals more often and see if that helps.

since when did natural lemon wood coals come in rolls of ten though?
maybe these are quicklight coals made from lemon wood (kinda like how we have quicklight coals made from coconut)?
