Any Artists Help With A Tattoo Idea

so, i have a friend who's had an idea for a tattoo for awhile but she can't get it out on paper. She wants an old polaroid type camera and then somehow incorporate a black balloon into the tattoo and maybe the lyrics "And i'll become what you became to me" into it. She hasn't decided yet about the lyrics. "Black balloon" by the Goo Goo Dolls is her favorite song ever and she's a photographer and in love with photography. I was wondering if anyone could help with ideas and/or sketches or anything? Anything would be appreciated. Thanks! i want to surprise her with some ideas.

I don't have a scanner, otherwise I'd sketch out something, but I do have a good idea.

Have the camera, with the black balloon in the lens, as if it was what the camera was focusing on and about to take a picture of.

The words could be incorporated either on the, where the label of the brand is supposed to go, or above it in some nice cursive writing.

With some nice shading and the right angles, this could be a really good tattoo for her.

you could "hang" the camera at a tilt between two black balloon's strings so that the baloons are staggered above eachother, throw some lighting/shading effects behind the design, and put the words on a scroll wrapped around the base of the camera - the cool thing about scrolls is that you can use the tails to fill negative space well.

I think it could be really cool if done in monochrome. Or mostly black with some brown in the scroll and somewhere else on the tat also for balance' sake.

As long as she goes to a great artist and brings a rudimentary idea, they should be able and willing to work with her till they arrive at a final outcome that mirrors and improves the initial design.

im pretty much in the same position, I have an idea for a tattoo but would like to sketch it out first before I get it done. How ever my idea includes lots of detailing and lots a work. Tattoo idea i have would be huge, it should probably be a back piece but I dont want a back piece. I am probably going to have it for a full sleeve and run it up a little before my neck or to the back. I want everything to be covered. Edited by newjacksm
