Majid
Just came from my local supplier and he had something new, a tobacco that he said is from bahrein, packaged in a thick silver colored foil with black arabic letters on it. I didn't look properly (stupid me) so i didn't catch a name. I did see a grape flavour. Thought maybe it rings a bell with one of you guys. Since he didn't think to offer me, a costumer of 4 years, a free sample i didn't buy any. If you guys can ID it and it's any good i'll pick some up. Thanks in advance. Thats what I said. Length and width are the same thing. I think he meant its width is bigger than the height, like a fumari package.(it obioviously isn't fumari)
Majid
Haha yeah i ment by description. It's a pain to get there after work before it closes so i thought i'd ask here. And calling these guys is useless since they have no idea what they sell sadly and the text on the package is arabic. Antouwan: No box, just the silver packaging. Wiggle: Yes, taller than it is wide. Majid
Just picked up two flavours, double apple and grape. It's called "Original Bahraini Molasses" Didn't get a chance to smoke yet but i'll post a review when i can. Very moist compared to Nakhla, smells mild, DA smells very natural and grape more chemical/candy like.Sorry for the double post

questions
just wondering, why do you all expect free samples?funny thing, I have been buying electronics from best buy for 10 years now, they have never offered me a free sample...same world...I have xbox 360, i won't know if I like a game until I play it, my buddy could love it, but I could hate it, sound familiar? same with tobacco, yet you all expect us(tobacco companies to give you for free to see if you like it?)thanks
mattarios2
best buy is a vendor not the manufacturer like you. The manufacturers like Bose and what not do let us test their systems, at best buy. They willingly leave a system out in vendors locations like best buy for their customers to test out. You have manu. and vendor a bit confused. Also 250g is a lot if you don't like it. If you buy a system or electronics you can return it within 30 days almost always. And I think he said since he has been going there for years and the dude didn't offer him a free sample it must not have been that great. You're dealing with broke college students a lot of the time. They want something low priced, high quality, and well known. They will pay for that. People dont buy Mya Phalcors or Mya Obelisks or Mya Vortexes anymore because they found a presumably better pipe in KMs and MZs without the high price. People look for free samples because they obviously dont want to pay for something unknown and untested. Would you pay 8 bucks at a hookah bar for a session that has only a 50% chance of being decent? Probably not. I dont look for free samples when I shop at vendors. I know what it's like in this market, you cant afford to give anything away but if you dont get rid of it it will expire on the shelf. So where is the out? I like vendors who go the extra mile to get customers. Even if they dont give samples away, as long as I get what I paid for at a reasonable price and quickly, there isnt much I can complain about. If you make a good product, they will come. If they havent come yet, then you need to retool your product.
Majid
Tried the grape.Cut: Very fine cut with very few stems. Very juicy compared to nakhla, drips down the stem juicy.Smell and taste: Smells like a red grape, pretty acurate but faint. Taste is the same, would be good but it's too faint.Smoke: Needs a lot of heat. Takes a few minutes to get going but provides decent clouds when it does. Duration: Hour and a half and it got harsh, wasn't good enough for me to wait and add new coals. Conclusion: Had a lot of potential, good clean fruity taste but just not strong enough for me. I'll stick to nakhla grape, comparable taste but much stronger.

It wouldn't hurt to offer something small once or twice out of friendship or just from a business perspective, who knows i'll like it and buy it from him more often. The same way a diner you go to often can give you a drink every now and then, or i offer them or another customer something to drink. It costs very little but it's a greatly appreciated gesture. And yeah money plays a role too My wallet's a little light and i wouldn't like to pay for something right now if i can't enjoy it. You can take it back within 7 days for a full refund even if there is nothing wrong with it.
