Need Some Help Guys

Recommended Posts

So I've been smoking hookah for about 9 months. I've been doing it pretty consistently (at least 3 or 4 times a week). Up until recently, I would usually have pretty good sessions. Good clouds and good flavor. Lately though, my sessions haven't been going well. The issue I'm having is that after a little while, the smoke taste a little burnt. I look at my glass phunnel and I notice a little stream of smoke floating upwards. I smell it and it smells of burnt, not cooked, shisha. I've seen it before but I never noticed it affect my session. Does this happen to you guys? I'm using an MNH Jet Glass phunnel with a glass mod, & starlight coconut coals. I've used both foil and a glass screen. The glass screen is one I had from my previous jet glass which broke. It doesn't fit right over the new bowl. I lined the lip with foil so that it can rest on top but it doesn't form the seal it used to. Any ideas?

Shouldn't have left Texas...hahahahaha

Pack a bit less tobacco. When I overload the Jet with baccy.

I haven't used the mod yet with the jet, maybe try without it once?

With my jet glass and a wet shisha i have a steady stream of smoke coming out the top but it usually doesnt burn. the glass screen is tricky, start out slow with the heat, i find i usually have to use an extra coal as opposed to a regular phunnel with foil. just back down your heat, less shisha and you should be good. the bowl does take a while to heat up so go slow.

Lol, I was wondering if that was it Stuie. Maybe since I'm not in my home court. I'm gonna give it a try without the mod and see what happens. I've gone without the mod when I smoke Lucid but I end up using it for all other shishas. Let's see what happens with that.
