yashman19
I really doubt that any foil company would have 6"x6" perforated squares just right for hookah. The closest thing I can think of that you can do is buy the already cut hookah foil that you can find at most online sites. Its much cheaper to just use regular foil though and cut it yourself. Jonny Haze
I know what you mean. I think it would be nice for one of those companys who sell the precut hookah foils to just stamp a standard set of holes through the foils and the same time they are cutting them. You get what I'm sayin? It wouldn't cost much to produce, and would make fixin a head that much easier.
dizzing
or, you could just get a screen ...
Jonny Haze
Ya, ive tried a screen. It just seems that I get more heat using foil.
dizzing
make a foil chimney (i guess that's out since we're talking about making things faster), or use a wind cover. those things insulate like a mofo.
Jonny Haze
Maybe. I never messed with a wind cover since I'm usually smoking inside. I just want to be lazy an exert the least amount of energy possible. Just in my nature I guess.
Brad
We had a great idea last week. We took a roll of foil and sawed it in half....it didn't work too well.Aren't there foil dispensers that work like a box of tissues (Kleenex)?
Jonny Haze
I don't mean perforated so you can rip sheets off, I mean perforated as in already has holes in it for smoking. Make sense?

pavlakos_politakos
i like yashs idea better than the 'pincher' because you can decide where the holes go,as where the plastic ones already have a set spot.

So the only other thing you can do is put more pushpins on the perimeter and thats about it. It still works well though. And the pushpins are nice and sharp so they make a nice clean cut without pushing the foil down.
pavlakos_politakos
i just have 2 bowls and they are exactly identical.i have two brass and 1 steel bowl but they dont fit my pipe(they belong to my dads afghanistanian hookahs, which are now in storage)so i dont have to worry about different sizes. Sonthert
Yes, they make precut sections of foil, Alcan makes them, they are for food service. One sheet is perfect for one head. I usually fold it in half, so if doesn't tear so easy. To punch holes, and put the tobacco in the bowl, I use an oyster fork. I have about 60 oyster forks around my lounge. Sonthert
Yeah, I forgot, the foil "pops" up like a box of Kleenex. Its pretty cool!
Sonthert
I just enjoy poking holes with my oyster fork. Poke. Poke. Poke. Poke. Poke. Poke. I also enjoy typing the word poke. Poke.

[LB]
LOL yash i made one EXACTLY like that, except i taped all of the tacs together. I used cardboard too though! its works great! the holes can be a little small though but thats a good thing, as long as you have alot.
