So my gf is finally letting me get a 3rd hookah and this time i want to go mini.

So after reading reviews its kinda between the mya qt and bambino as i already have two 32".
I think i like the look of the bambino more but the qt is a little large and looks more stable

Kinda want to know why one is better than the other since prices are about the same

Smokeability?

Stability?
I want to to use a razan hose and dont want to worry about it tipping.

Glass Quality?

If there are another options i may have missed be sure to post up!

thanks for the advice

The QT and Bambino always seemed pretty comparable to me smoke-wise (I've owned both).

As far as stability goes, the QT is a bit better, but the Bambino certainly isn't prone to tipping over or anything. They both seem pretty much built like a tank, as far as hookahs go.

Personally, I prefer the Bambino; but it's really just depends on what you want it for, I guess. Something you might want to keep in mind is that you can make the QT into a double hose really easy. *shrug*

-edit-
I usually use a Nammor hose with the Bambino, and I've never had any tippage problems. Edited by wirelesspropaganda

I own a QT and my buddy Eric owns a Bambino, we have yet to compare them side by side but I prefer my QT. They both smoke equally well, but I plan to 2-hose mod mine, and it seems more stable with the wide base.

The stem on the bambino is really pretty though, reminds me of LOTR when I smoke it, which is a feel-good association for me.

I think it comes down to the practicality aspect of a somewhat more stable base and easy 2 hose mod option and just plain looks.

Either way you'll be happy Joytron!

Enjoy the new pipe, and you must update!

My Bambino smokes better than my KM Tri-Metal and just as well as my MZ Perpetual River, with comparable purge. The stem and vase are both gorgeous, and you can pretty much throw it throw a brick wall without so much as chipping the glass.

I've never smoked a QT, but yeah ~ the Bambino overall is probably the best pipe in the world, in my experience.

That said, stability can be an issue. It's nice to have something to prop it against, if you're using a Razan or Nammor. Edited by gaia.plateau

I don't know what Gaia is talking about with it smoking better than the tri-metal but ... i have smoked both and own a QT, I got the QT b/c I figured it would be more stable than the bambino base.

They both smoke about the same, can't really say which smokes better.

You will be happy with either one,

Enjoy

Get the QT!!

Smokeability?

Smokes like a champ, you can get huge clouds with a qt.. doesn't purge very well, as with all myas i guess...

Stability?

qt is very stable, no problem pairing it with the razan in anyway... razans are far too light to get the qt tipped over..

Glass Quality?

ehh.. it's okay on the qt.. it's pretty thick for the most part, but it's a bit thin on the bottom.. providing you be extra careful with the base, i don't see any problem with it..

also the qt is extremely easy to clean.. almost every part of the stem is detachable, which is pretty awesome.. and you can get it to a two hose setup! great for get togethers or a group smoke session..

now, get the qt... i love mine.. you will love it too..

I love mine too but the bambino just looks cooler has thicker glass and metal (from what i here)

the only downside that some people would have is its a 1 hose only hookah but if your like me and smoke alone its all good

I have owned both, they smoke the same (duh). Both arr very durable. Qt is the normal Mya design, Bambino is hollow with the downstem down the middle. Bambino is much easier to clean (duh again). Qt is more stable. They both take Nammors. Bambino has a carrying case. Qt costs less. You can get a QT and shisha and coals for 54.99. QT's always go on sale, Bambinos don't. Both trays are too small. QT base is crappier quality (bubbles, deformations, waves in the glass that cause wobbling). The Bambino looks very intricate and ornate; the Qt looks very standard.

That's all I can really think of. If you can get the Bambino for cheaper than 45 then it's a steal. I would go for the Bambino if the Mya isn't 45 or under, because of the carrying case and how easy it is to clean.
