Few Quick Oppionon Questions

Recommended Posts

How many times do u smoke out of a hookah before you get a new one? Been smoking out of my KM for almost 7 months now and countless bowls have been smoked, is it bad? I see yall are always getting new hookahs, but is that because of money or the hookah gets old? What is the best coals that you guys like buying? I have a stove to light them on and it is where we light all of our coals. I hear alot about finger coals and natural coals and all that crap, but what are you using right now?

I've had the same hookah for years, still smokes because of upkeep. Treat your stuff well and it'll last a lifetime.

I buy guitars, amps, pedals, lots of things I don't really need but want. Same goes for any hobby, you buy things cause you want to have variety or whatever reason seems reasonble.

Finger coals are fine, just the hassle of cutting them made me go for Coconaras.

people buy new pipes all the time because they want them. A hookah will be good for a lifetime if its taken care of properly. As for coals thats a very subjective question. Some people love quicklights, i hate them. Thats something that you have to figure out for yourself by trying all kinds of different ones.

Yeah, the only things that usually need replacing (unless you're talking really cheap junior/pumpkins which tend to fall apart) are bases and, to a lesser extent, bowls. If you've got a good stem it should last indefinitely with proper care/maintenance.

yep, just as everyone said, good upkeep and cleaning will ensure your stuff to last forever. accidents do happen, and heads and bases do break - it's pretty hard to mess up the stem though.

i use coconaras and lump coals (and every now and then the chron cocos and hc cocos). put them on a $10 burner and your set to go.

take good care of your hookah and it will last you ages.. people get a new hookah for different reasons, first being that their current hookah is broken down, second being they just want a new one..

as for coals, i am using coconaras at the moment, but i will probably go back to using some natural bulk/lump wood charcoal.
well because coconaras are just too damn expensive and the only difference i've noticed with the coconara coals is that it's just more conveniently packaged and cut into little squares..

as for exoticas or any other brand of finger coals.. never tried em' but i don't know why people keep bitching about having to score and break them apart.. i would like to see them deal with the bulk/lump charcoal and trying to break THOSE into smaller pieces.
