Fluffy
I think unglazed bowls own because after you use them for a bit they retain a small level of past flavors and it adds to the shisha a bit if you ask me.another thing i like about unglazed bowl is they stain. the stain is like a little painting, i call it art really. Hojo
QUOTE (Tom16689 @ Dec 7 2008, 02:25 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I beg to differ.FATALITY!My unglazed bowl reeks, and no amount of washing can remove the residual flavors. My phunnel always tastes like one flavor, the flavor I am smoking, and for that it has earned my respect.

modisess
yeah, i really like how the unglazed bowls stain... it looks good, and used... but i still love the phunnel more..
mattathayde
not big on unglazed bowls, harder to clean out and i dont want flavor to be retained, its not a traditional western pipe, you dont build up anything in it to smoke better.phunnels are not my bag, have one but stopped using it cause i just waste shisha and dont get better smoke (even tried with a mod and was disappointed but i will probably give it another go some time)i like my mod bowl, smokes great and lasts 1-2 rounds of coals depending on the shisha-matt
ryno
I've never used an unglazed Egyptian, but if they seep less juice I may get one to try out.
AKammenzind
Unglazed bowls are good, but anymore I smoke out of those discounted egyptian bowls on HC. I must admit... I am a cheap son of a bitch, hahahaha. Honestly though, I haven't noticed much difference between glazed/unglazed.

Bulldog_916
Maybe in order to season an unglazed bowl you should smoke Zaghloul out of it. It's just a standard molasses flavor. I would think that wouldnt add any sort of off taste to a good bowl.

Bulldog_916
I havent. But I've heard good things, lol. Kind of a sweet tobacco flavor. Pure tobacco though, no kind of honey taste or anything like that. I'm gonna pick up a 250 of the lite version at the market next week.
