modisess
i think it's supposed to take up space in the phunnel bowl so you will use less shisha in the bowl and let's the smoke or heat travel through the tobacco better, so you get better flavor...havent used one.. but i don't think it's necessary. zeppyrkr
To me, its makes the shisha last longer, taste better and u use less shisha. for like the 7 bucks i paid for it one the best buys i made. i think the biggest thing for me is the fact that i save shisha. jezter6
It supposedly does 2 things.1) Takes up space, allowing you to pack less2) Focuses air down to the bottom of the bowl so that air must go under the mod before going down the hole. This (in theory) would allow you a longer smoke because you're focusing heat all the way down through the bowl instead of just roasting the top layer and leaving the bottom part untouched. I have not seen it to work all that well in this regard.

mattathayde
it takes up space and is supposed to give more flavor. ive found it uses less shisha but uses it faster. i also found that on some tobaccos (main culprit being SB blue myst) it changes the taste and makes it just taste sweet and lose and distinguishable flavor.i dont use mine but i also dont use my phunnel much any more-matt
wilarseny
As far as using less tobacco, yes a mod accomplishes this. But I actually think a properly set up phunnel without a mod is much better than one with it. Just one man's opinion...
cb1021
i ordered one. after spending hundreds on other shisha stuff, $10 more dollars aint going to hurt.also, i find that shisha smokes the best when the whole bowl is warm. meaning all the tobacco, and the cemeric phunnel bowl is hot, as if the whole thing is cooking and steaming. so in theory, the scalli mod, it's glass which will retain heat well, may give more central heat to the whole bowl. inno. go for it. Scoop
its pretty much worthless imo. it doesn't fit on the small, makes the medium one have a weird shape with foil on, and does nothing (in my opinion) for performance. waste of money.
