Exhale Hookah Lounge (long Beach)

Recommended Posts

Just in case anyone is in the long beach area they might want to stop and check out exhale. I went there a while ago and the bowls were all under packed and the coal guy had no idea what was going on. Well they are now under management and I was quite impressed. The owner actually packs all the bowls, the best i have had at a hookah bar, packed to the brim. The coal guy is allright but once you bug him once he will come around often. The music is not nearly as loud as the other lounges and they play middle eastern music earlier in the night. The hookahs are egyptians around 30", hit pretty well, and are clearly cleaned. A mouthtip is ready and waiting and they give you tongs. Lots of couches, they now check ID's and a pleasent atmosphere. Flavor is all starbuzz but they sell layalina, ali baba, AF, and john's chronicut coals.

just a heads up for anyone that wants a decent smoke, without doing it themsleves.

sweet, exhale used to give me a headache. I dont mind music being played but once a "hookah lounge" turns into a "hookah night club" and the music is turned up and the relaxing environment that a lounge is supposed to have is neglected it becomes a disappointment. If i wanted a club i would go to heat.

So how much are their hookahs now? Edited by DJ_HOSSEIX

it is $12 per hookah which isnt bad, but you can only have two people per hookah which is kinda weak. Refills are $8, all starbuzz but there selection is pretty extensive. I wanted to try blue mist because of the great reviews, eh kinda let down its a pretty good flavour but not minty at all. blue jolly rancher ish

I know the owner personally and he's a very nice guy. I rarely hang out at lounges (due to several things, I'm a bit older than the crowd, have kids and wife to get home to, and have a nice setup to smoke at home) but whne I go there I really like what they have setup at Exhale. I do go once every few months.
