First, never light  the coals on top of your tin foil. It does something  horribly bad to its chemical and physical make-up, while  also smelling your tobacco too. Also, lot of them smell and smoke, so you would want to do it out the window or porch with the door preferably closed.   And to each his own. My favorite quick lights are  from the "7 Trees com." which are not listed anywhere on line. They do not have a bad during or after taste.Hot too. I use one maximum. The "7 Trees. " has a picture on the box  in color of the Three Wise Men (like hald the  coal companies do !)Lots more people all over the world use quick lighting coals to burn incense than do hookah smokers.   I know that the "7 Trees" company is sold from Jerusalem, Israel because its telephone number on the box start with an   02 Israeli area code. I have a feeling that they are made in  &nbs p;  &nbs p; Beit Lechem  (Bethleham) but I'm not sure.Areas near Bethleham are also 02 area code. Like an ass I threw out the box. On the inside are rolls of either 5 or 10 coals wrapped hermetically in this space-age foil gold wrapper. No company sign is written on it, but it has a warning in English, Arabic, and Hebrew not to touch with bare hands.
I looked again online nothing doing. I will say this, I pay $ 4.24 for a box of 100 coals at a 24/7 hookah shisha store. I usually buy 3 boxs of 100 wrapped coals, but  when I ran out I bought  "Pegasus" which was much more expensive, tasted like !@#$%^&*()_+|":#*$   and it smells even worse  when I lit  it.
They are Greek coals. Some Greek coals are alright, but  don't buy "Pegasus". The company I bought from sent me some  wood charcoal which is nice, and some tobacco also after I complained.

I only prefer self-lighting coals because they're easier to light then the "mound of natural coals" I have heard lots of stuff to that degree. I believe if the charcoal has a flavor or odor, then you shouldn't be smoking it, because its probably producing lots of carbon monoxide.
