trumpetlad1990
Hey all, I ordered a 22 inch Nile Hookah from Hookah-shisha and it came in today. It's a single hose. Does it matter which side I screw it in on? Also, a grommet has a slit in the side. If I report that will they replace it? I think it came with 2 hose grommets. Lastly, there are 2 little balls in a bag. Are those important? I think I have it set up correctly, but any help is appreciated. I read the instructions, but the illustrations are not very well done. Thanks in advance-Weedy
modisess
the two balls are for the hose adapters i think, they may have the auto-seal feature, though i don't know why they would have separated those. Maybe they're just extras? but they are vitally important.and where's the pics?

I feel really dumb. Thanks!
AKammenzind
If you have a 1-hoser, they probably included them in case you want to convert it to a 2-hoser with autoseal sometime? I think their egyptians now have compatible ports in case you want to make it a 2-hoser at some point. Unless you have two hoses, just put them in a bag somewhere that you keep your supplies and forget about it unless/until you want to add an extra hose port on. Grats on the hookah though man, hope it serves you well. Smoking pics!
acolon_5
The ball might be an extra ball bearing for the purge valve. If your hose adaptor has a screw in it then the ball might be an auto seal as someone else suggested, but that doesn't make much sense for a 1 hose. trumpetlad1990
OH! I see what you're saying now. Wow... I probably couldn't make it much more obvious that I'm a newbie. Since there is no valve, should I put toilet paper or something in the other adapter? I saw some people do that in a video. Thanks again!-Weedy
AKammenzind
Other adapter? Does your stem have one hose port, and then a screw-on cap on the reverse side? Or does it have two hose ports?
inino
un screw both hose ports and put 1 ball in each then screw them back on. it wont hurt to have a ball in the side that your hose comes out of. without those balls your smoke wont go through the water. hookah hippie
the ball bearings could be either for the release valve which is most likely or a possible auto sealIf I see a pic I can let you know immediately
Hippo_Master
The balls arent for the hose port. They are extra ball bearing for the purge valve. Throw them in the garbage and open up the purge valve and put an Airsoft BB in there if you have one. No bearings go in the hose port, you wouldn't be able to purge. They will replace your grommets free of charge, from my experience at least. shipped to you in 1-3 days. AKammenzind
Yes very helpful. It's actually configured for two hoses, so put the ball bearings in (basically screw the hose port adapters over them most likely, I can't tell which way those ports work). So if you wanted to buy a second hose at some point, you'd be able to use 2-hoses. As it is it'll work fine as a 1-hoser so long as you put the ball-bearings in so that the auto-seal can work.

I wonder if they shipped the wrong one to me? Thanks so much!It might just be their supplier. Since it's an autoseal they might take 2-hosers and sell them as 1-hosers because they'll work as a 1-hoser, and send you one hose hahaha. Or it could just be a mistake... regardless, it's the same deal for a 1-hoser only now you can opt for two if you've got several people around.
