Worst Smokes

So, it's happened to me again. I've gotten a flavor of shisha that I just absolutely cannot smoke. The thing is, it's Tangiers, and I expected better--the flavor is Clove, and even with proper heat management this stuff is impossible to sit down and enjoy smoking. It's not burning, but it kills your throat.

The only other shisha that I can remember wanting to throw out like this is one I got when I was still relatively n00bish at hookah: al waha honey. It was at least 80% molasses, and I'm pretty sure there were whole uncut leaves in it. On an egyptian bowl, it literally stopped all airflow. Terrible.

I was wondering what shisha's done this for other people, because I think we all should watch out for each other, lol. If one person buys the world's worst shisha, no one else should have to repeat their mistake.

it could be a bad batch, not necessarily a bad flavor or brand. becuase shisha is mixed by hand sometimes it gets messed up.

Hmmm...the only flavors I have come close to throwing away I didn't enjoy them so much was AF Double Apple and Tangiers Root Beer.

I'm assuming I just got a bad flavor from Tangiers because they also make my favorite flavor of all time, Sour. AF Double Apple is just horrible though, if you love anise and absolutely no apple, then buy it, other than that, avoid it like the plague.

the new af watermelon and af peach. disgusting. also nakhla caramel, flavor was so harsh on the throat i coughed like hell from the first pull.

Honestly, I think it's unfair to "warn" others about a certain shisha brand or flavor. The problem is everyone's taste is different. My friends all hated Kashmir Cherry and SB Pumkin Pie, but I really liked both of them.

Plus people have alliances to certain brands. My Uncle would not but any other car but Peugeot. Lord knows that others may disagree as to whether it is the best car brand on the Market. Obviously, the problem is that there actually may be some brands or flavors that EVERYONE should avoid, but you'd probably still find someone who likes it. lol.

I say, to each his own.

I really liked Tangiers Clove, because over time it tasted like a ginger snap to me, very holiday-ish.

Terrible, awful stuff. Cut looks like confetti and is impossible to pack well, thing smoke, no taste. If you want something to make your room smell good, go ahead. but if you want to smoke it, hell no.

for me its romman. all romman flavors i have had... i hated. so i just stay away from it although thinking about it i have only had romman 50 gr boxes so that could be why. But why would the 50 grs suck and the big ones not.

Granted its not the best out there but I like AW mint.

For me it would be Hookah Hookah irish cream. A buddy of mine loaded up a bowl of it. Took one drag and that was more than enough for me.

Yea, their blueberry and passionfruit are two of my favorite flavors. I really love the rest of their stuff. For some reason this one just failed for me. It's not acclimation problem either, I acclimated for about 3 whole days. Could be a bad batch, I guess, but I'd heard that doesn't happen much with Tangiers.

I actually had a pretty good experience with Pharaoh's. Their blackberry and tripple apple are both delicious, if a bit dry. But just add some glycerin and you're good to go.

Ok, I do agree that Nak lemon does taste like Pinesol alone but you need to try a 30/70 mix with Nak Apricot. One of my favorite cheap smokes out there (i.e. $5 for a 250g box).

But my worst was al-waha banana...so so disgusting.
