Shift_Six
Ok so here we go. As ive talked about before i was getting a fair amount of starbuzz and al fakher from social smoke and said some reviews were coming up. Well here they are. Over the past 2 days ive had a chance to smoke al fakher white grape, starbuzz blackberry, starbuzz sour apple, al fakher cola, al fakher mint, and al fakher reg apple. I also tried out Starbuzz cherry and starbuzz strawberry kiwi, but im not going to review those because i was so drunk at that point that i didnt even know what was going on , theyll be soon to come though. Anyways lets start with some mint. *If you agree or disagree with any of my views, please please post them. It only helps other people get a wide variety of opinions, which could make their decisions easier* AL FAKHER MINT Smell: All I can say is pure peppermint. It exactly like peppermint gum. If your a fan of peppermint gum, there is no doubt in my mint youll enjoy this at least for the smell. Smoke: The smoke, as with any al fakher product, is really thick and lasts for a long while. I never timed it mind you, but i would say probably about an hour, little less little more. Taste: OH MY, probably one of the most intense flavours ive tasted. If anyone has ever tried Nahkla Mint, it has this really intense menthol feeling in your throat, but not much of a mint taste. As im typing right now actually im chewing some peppermint gum The thing with Al Fakher mint though, is that you get the best of both. The menthol taste is not quite as strong, but its still there, but it makes up for it with the very refreshing mint taste. Final View: Probably one of the best and most essential flavours to have in your collection at all times if you a fan of mint in general. Mint is really a flavour to chill out too cause its very very refreshing. Definately a must buy. AL FAKHER COLA Smell: What can i say again......smells exactly like COLA! My friend was so excited by the smell, he was flipping out. Hes a huge fan of cola and just by the smell he and i knew it was gonna be a great smoke. Smoke: I might as well not even post how the smoke is for either brands, im pretty sure everyone knows by now what kind of smoke both starbuzz and al fakher produce. Thick and smooth and just all around goodness. Taste: I was also really drunk when i was testing this one out but WOW. Once again, If you enjoy the taste of say Pepsi for example, you will absolutely love this. Like mint, its very very refreshing and never seems to leaves a burning taste throughout the entire bowl. Final View: Id say if your a fan of Cola and even if your not really a fan of drinking cola......buy this. You will not be disappointed if you enjoy a coke here and there. Nothing really tastes exactly like its supposed to, but this is definately as close as you could get to cola. STARBUZZ BLACKBERRY Smell: Im pretty sure it was this stuff and maybe raspberry that i was able to smell through the sealed box and the sealed containers . Really strong smell, that smells like a really candied blackberry. The smell alone makes you drool. Smoke: Excellent quality of smoke once again. Great cut and very smooth and thick smoke. Taste: Alright, when I tasted this stuff i was blown away by how unique it was to the other flavours i had tried. We had 2 hookahs going at the same time and when i grabbed one of the hoses i knew it was black berry. It had kindof a berry taste mixed with a red grape taste and considering I had some blackberries in my fridge which i never do, the taste matched up pretty well. Final View: Even for the money, this stuff is a great buy. I didnt really think they could pull it off, but i was very very wrong. Regardless if you have tried blackberries or not, I would say this is a great buy if you enjoy candy tasting fruits. Al FAKHER REG. GRAPE Smell: Without out a doubt, it is the most intense smell. My friend was packing the bowl and i was about 10 meters away and i could constantly smell it. Smoke: Not even going to bother. Taste: If you want the exact taste of a grape, your not going to find it. If you like grape juice though, youll love it. It tastes like a really sweet and kindof tart grape juice. Flavour is really intense and leaves a pleasant and flavourful after taste in your mouth. Final View: If tasted only one other grape before and it was Nahkla grape. Al Fakher reg. grape blows this stuff away in every aspect. Until ive tried a couple other grape flavours, I dont know for sure, but SO FAR, its the best ive tasted. STARBUZZ SOUR APPLE Smell: When you first open the double sealed starbuzz packaging, this stuff smells really floral (for lack of a better word). As you start packing the bowl however, it really really starts to smell like a green apple. IF you actually think about it, green apples dont really smell how they taste. May I remind everyone that this stuff is green and looks like relish or pesto, so be on guard. Smoke: No complaints of course. Thick and smooth.....thick and smooth. Taste: I really would like to smoke this one again before I can judge is fully. Im going to say it doesnt really have an intense taste because i know that even if i was a bit intoxicated. Besides the intensity, it really does taste like green apple. It has this different taste though, kindof like the rind of the apple i guess. When i say different i dont mean bad either. Final View: Im not going to give this one a final view yet, and i dont really know about this review in general. Im going to smoke it again with no alcohol im my system, come back and give it a final judgement. AL FAKHER REG. APPLE Smell: I really explain this smell. Its a really unique smell that i cant relate to any others. If i could relate it to something else, i guess i would have to say that it smell like a red delicious apple and one other thing. Im not sure what this one other thing is, but i could seriously smell this stuff all day. Smoke: *sigh* i hate having to repeat myself......thick and smooooooooth. Taste: I was really trusted King Mo's opinion on this stuff, and he did not disappoint. If your looking for something that tastes like an apple plus some strong tartness, dont look here. This is a single red apple ladies and gentlemen, and its really sweet with a touch of tartness. This is another one of those flavours thats really refreshing and that you could smoke after anything. For example, I couldnt smoke something like strawberry 10 minutes after i had eaten, but apple would be perfectly fine with my system. I was smoking this stuff with reg. grape at the same time and the smell of the 2 and how well each flavour complimented the other was great. Final View: Im always afraid that something will take this review and buy like 250g and be sadly disappointed. Fact is, everyone has their own view on massell and a lot of them can be conflicting. I see myself as a person with great tastebuds. Im one of those people who can pick out everything that was used in food or a drink. With that in mind, If your looking for a red delicious tasting apple flavour, look no further then Al Fakher Reg. Apple. So I guess thats it for now. In the next week hopefully ill get to try and retry everything, and im especially looking forward to retrying the sour apple. When reading about it before i bought it, it was said to be something that you cant fully appreciate until youve smoked it a couple times, so i hope they are right. I hope to get new reviews on Al Fakher mixed fruit, Starbuzz Strawberry and Strawberry kiwi, Starbuzz Raspberry, Starbuzz Cherry, and Al Amir Cherry. Hope these reviews can help making anyones buying a little bit easier

Johnny_Z
Awesome reviews man!! Out of the flavors you reviewed the only ones I've tried so far are Al-Fakher Apple, Grape, and Cola. I gotta say I totally agree with you on all counts except that I found Nakhla's Cola to taste quite a bit more strongly and realistic then Al-Fakher's. Strange but true . So if you really liked Al-Fakher's Cola it wouldn't hurt to give Nakhla's version a go and see what you think. All in all I'd say your reviews are definately spot on from my perspective and I really enjoyed reading them! I think Starbuzz's Blackberry will have to go on my "to try" list. Keep up the good work Shift_Six!
Brad
I'm a real fan of mint flavors, and Al Fakher's is still the best I've tried so far. Still need to get my hands on some Tangiers mint though. I recently got a few small 50g jars of Hookah Hookah and Spearmint was one of them. The flavor is great (and accurate) in the beginning but starts to get overwhelmingly strong and cold after about 20 minutes. Trying Hookah Hookah again was interesting because it was the first shisha I smoked with.
ApoC
the absolute best mint shisha i have ever had, is the Starbuzz spearmint. this is my favorite shisha now.
Shift_Six
I guess Nahkla Cola is something else to try. Its too bad i cant get it here fresh. In my next order ill be sure to include that as well as lemon. Anyone know a great lemon flavour that wont make you sick like Nahkla orange. It has this almost realistic citrus feeling thats sits with you, and doesnt sit well. And Pavlakos, its actually Al Fakher Reg. Apple. The package looks like this:
gunsboy
Nice reviews ... I like double apple AF and Bahraini AF too. I did not ELiskandarani and Regural Apple from AF.
gunsboy
can I ask you where do u get those from ? How did u get them past customs ?
Shift_Six
I got it from Socialsmoke with express shipping, and was charged nothing extra i dont think. Ive ordered off the net twice without any problems so im hoping that the luck continues. And thats fairly strange that you dont like both the green apple and the reg apple, those seem to be the 2 most favoured types of apple from Fakher.
