freeskierpj
Hey everybody just wanted to stop by and introduce myself...For about 6 months my friend had a hookah down in his parents basement and it was great fun going over there chillin with his mom and just relaxing getting our homework done but he broke his and didn't want to buy a new one so I figured it was time for me to get one...I went to my local shop and the guy there hooked me up with this hookah (I know the company is Sahara but not sure what kind it is) Sorry for the bad picture but my camera is dead and my phone camera is terrible...I am gonna be testing it out this afternoon and I can't wait with some nice tangiers mint...I got it for 75$ which seems like a good deal to me, is it?Just felt like an introduction and can't wait to ! AKammenzind
Eh, $75 is a bit much. If I'm right, those go for $40 from saharasmoke. http://saharasmoke.com/store/catalog/SAHAR...-p-1-c-330.html

inino
ya a bit overpriced , but as long as you like it thats all that matters. im personally not a big fan of those vases. not much of a smoke chamber and hard to see the water level. I've only used small-mid sized hookahs so I'm not sure of the difference...Yea zeppy thanks! I've already learned a lot about hookahs I didn't know from here because my friend would be the one to set up the hookah so I didn't really have to worry about anything but using it haha but I wish I could have gotten the next hookah up but it was 135$ and that was just out of my price range...And I did read the rulesThanks dirk I like it too despite the extra cost... inino
well because the vase is really wide on bottom and narrow on top there isnt that much room from the water lvl to the smoke ports, it just makes the pulls a little harder. doesnt affect the volume of smoke though. Rani
It's really not that bad smoke wise, etc. I had one very similar as my very first pipe and it did quite well. So well, that I passed it on to a friend when she was ready to try hookah. She and her whole family ended up using it every night. My base was a transparent filligree though so the water level was a bit easier. But that's not much of a challenge either. When you get it smoking really well, at the end of your session pour the water into a measuring cup. From that time on, you'll be able to pour that same amount of water into the base. You don't need to physically see it if you can measure it! If you end up as crazy about hookah as the rest of us, you can do the same as I did. When you upgrade to a full sized traditional pipe, pass the smaller one along to a friend and spread the love.'Rani

It's a good feeling knowing its yours rather than just someone elses you are going to chill with...
Capt. Morgan
That was my first hookah (different color base though). It was a decent smoke, liked how portable it was. My only comment is be careful with the water level, very easy to get water into the hose, which will cause the hose to get rusty.
vin13
Welcome and congrats on your hookah. I personally love those vases. Good to know you had a good session minus the coal!
