cb1021
the main problem is that tangiers smells sooo strong, i cannot acclimate it in my room (where I smoke). my room has higher temperature and probably drier than my basement (where i acclimate it). i dont know what to do. is it that i havent acclimate it in my basement for long enough, or is it that i REALLY have to "acclimate where I smoke"...... SimplexCoda
Well if the temp difference is only a few degrees and the humidity is only a few % different you should be ok, if its like 10 degrees difference and like 7% humidity difference i might be a bit concerned. But since its in the same house i down that its gonan be that much different.
mattarios2
i asked a question like this a lil while back, shouldn't matter, once it smells good, puff away and hope for the best.
Zyram
just let it acclimate a good long while man. I had to let some of my tangiers acclimate for over 12 hours last night and it was GREAT today (around noon) when I started a bowl =). I did smoke in the same room etc, but the temp difference was a lot from yesterday to today (mid 40's today, compared with low 30's yesterday, and even teens last night).-Z

Hippo_Master
Put it in your room......Ohh i see. Yeah high temperature doesn't mean low humidity. Ever heard of a Humidifier? It shouldn't be that much of a problem for the tobacco. Edited December 14, 2008 by Hippo_Master

findlaytennis
do you need to let the f-line series acclimate to?

liquidglass
most of it depends on the flavor you have. Some flavors need to acclimate longer and some (like sour) doesn't have an overpowering smell of individuality when it's acclimated. But I would go with Coda on this one. I used to acclimate inside and smoke outside and that works but it's so much better to acclimate inside and smoke inside, unless the temps/humidity are way way off then it's no biggie.
