Miniature Brass Egyptian. Nice Rig man.

Where'd ya get that?

LOL its far from nice, works real well. I like it. A buddy of mine gave it to me for my birthday. Would you know what type of adapter to get?

Also not sure what the miniature means but its like 22" tall. Edited by djprotege

Ohh it looks very small in the pics. 22" is small, but not mini. I would love a hookah like that. Brass, hand carved heart, brass purge valve and brass hose port. can't get better than that. It's very nice. You are a lucky, you don't have a shitty Chinese rig or Shitty Egyptian rig so be very happy!

The adapter you can buy will make a very, very tight pull. Egyp[tian hookahs aren't really meant to be 2 hose.

i would say its not that easy to identify as brass. it could be steel. could definitely be brass too

Brass is usually etched like that, and it has a duller sheen than steel.

If you hit it with a screwdriver or something, it would "plunk" instead of "ping" . smile.gif Edited by Hippo_Master

one of the KMs that used to be made in brass was at erics lounge. it looked identical to one my friend had which was brass, had etchings too and eric assured me the one he had was steel. i couldnt tell the difference by looking at them

I can see that if it is actually steel, like thick stuff (nmot the stuff used in hookahs now), like carved out of a solid block. It would probably be heavy and would rust fast. I guess it could be steel.

OP, is your rig pretty heavy to the touch? Does it feel "thick" when handling it?

I would have to say Yes, it feels heavy in that sense. There is a little rust on the purge valve

It could be a variety of things, but most definitely is a thick solid heart, no matter what the building material.

if you have a magnet, try using a magnet to the hookah, if it sticks its not brass. if it doesn't its brass (i feel like this is some serious CSI we're doing here lol...)

What would you recommend for upgrades?

Razan Hose (nazarhookah.com, hookahjohn.com, mnhookahs.com) and a Small Phunnel bowl (hookahcompany.com, hookahjohn.com).

Whats the phunnel bowl do differently then a regular bowl?

Longer, more flavorful sessions. Egyptian bowl work great too, but most people enjoy the phunnel when they use it.
