Outlandish Flavors

Recommended Posts

I'm growing tired of the traditional fruit-based flavors, and I'm looking for some unique shishas.

Rose seems interesting, does anyone have any suggestions for some outlandish flavors?

Just got an interesting freebie in a package, looking to smoke it soon. Rooh Afza flavor, done by Afzal. Smells wonderful, too bad it's Afzal and will probably not be particularly long-lasting/smoke-producing. Smells like rose and an odd, sweet flavor that I can't really place. Somewhat like Lychee, really.

On this note, seems to me like all the really, truly crazy flavors are done by terrible brands. Afzal also has a pan masala shisha, at least I'm pretty sure it's them. Man that'd be an interesting smoke. Edited by wilarseny

Human flesh.

Or did you mean existing flavours? I don't think Eric has that one perfected yet...

Try Tangiers Schnozberry, AF Cardamon or Jasmine, Layalina Key Lime Pie.

For truly outlandish flavours you need to experiment. My favourites are...

Jolly Margarita
A Layer of Naklha Marguerita under Al Fakher Watermelon. Works well with fruit juice or white tea for a base.

Monkey's Lunch
Baja Kaluha, AF Banana, Cafe Latte and/or Cappuccino, optionally put a layer of Nakhla coffee and/or caramel underneath. Works well with a coffee based.

Chocolachata
Tangiers Cocoa and Horchata. Works well with a Chai Tea base. Edited by gaia.plateau

There is a brand that makes a Cedar flavor. It's interesting, and tastes like cedar, not as strong and fresh, but still noticeably cedarwood.

Ohh, Rooh Afza Pan is the best flavor by Afzal, by the way.

I think the brand that makes Cedar flavor is "Sultan"

Also, Hookah1.com has flavors of Desi Murli Indian tobacco (known as "Mush's Dirt" here i guess), Khus and Kewra, I havn't personally tried either, as I like my Desi plain (Spiced Apple is AMAZING though) , but those are pretty odd.

Also, Al Waha makes a "Khaki" flavor.

Afzal also makes another flavor that kind of smells like aftershave or soemthing like that. Texashookah carries it.

Tonic makes a Baklava which i actually tried tonight... it's ridiculously good.

Khaki is considered a "fruit flavor"

Yet still outlandish. he did say traditional fruit flavors which I assume he means Strawberry, Apple, Blueberry, Peach etc.

Also, Ayam Zaman makes a wonderful flavor called 1001 Nights. It's actually one of the best tobaccos I have tried.

I really wanna try Desi Murli. You get like 300g for 4 dollars. Crazy good deal and I've heard nothing but positive or quasi positive reviews for it.

Now I'm excited for the desi murli you're sending my way Hippo lol. Trades ftw.

I second AF Cardamom.

Try AF plum, it's definately not a "normal" fruit flavor, very balance between sweet and tart.

It has to be said, Nakhla DA is a great flav that isn't too "sweet".

I'd try AF and Nakhla cinnamon as well.

Nobody's mentioned Tangiers Horchata yet?! Or Cocoa?!

If you are looking for some odd flavors, check out Hookah Freak. I know they dont get the best reviews on here, but some of their flavors arent too bad

Their lemon pepper is.. odd at best. It's kind of good. but it's not lemon pepper like the shit you put in eggs and stuff. Its sweet flavored.

Atomic Fireball is good though. Pancakes is OK but it gets sickening. Snickerdoodle is also good.

Salmon flavor?? What?? Is it like a smoked salmon... or a lemon salmon? or a cedar-plank salmon? Ha that's the weirdest damn thing I have ever heard of in my life.

This is part of the salmon tobacco saga.

Afzal Bombay Pan Masala. It is one of my all time favorite flavors. Mix it with a little mint and its even better. You can get it at texashookah.
