Doubon
Hey everyone, since my phunnel broke I've been trying to pack tangiers in my egyptian. I've been getting poor results, so I took some pictures of my set-up. Maybe you all can spot what I'm doing wrong. Basically, I put my pinky finger in the middle of the bowl and drop in the shisha around it. This time I used my Mya, heavy duty foil, room temp water, two coconut coals, and my razan.I'd really love to get this right and any suggestions would be appreciated. drabin
what does bad results mean? no smoke? egyptian bowl could have clogged holes.
Doubon
More like weak or harsh smoke.Air flow is fine.
Sonthert
You need to use less charcoal than a phunnel. (Kinda obvious, but...)The tobacco needs to be slightly looser in the center. When you finish the bowl and poke the holes, hold on to the foil and blow through the bottom of the bowl (the part that connects to the hookah). the airflow should be good, feeling like something is in there, but not not too obstructed. Sonthert
Yeah, well I usually only leave 1/8"-1/16" gap between the tobacco and the foil...some of the tobacco might actually be in contact with the foil, but the main bulk of it is slightly gapped. I would poke lots of holes over the center. the center is where you need holes.
