Victim026
It might be a little long, you should really go off of smell for how long you acclimate. Once it smells like the flavor it's usually ready to go.
newjacksm
Well its smokes fine been smoking fine, I am just wondering if I am over acclimating it and harming it by doing so (killing the flavor)
Victim026
If you've already been smoking it and it's good to go then there's no more reason to leave it sit out. Stick it in a rubbermaid tub and leave it be.
drabin
close it up then when you wanna smoke take a owls worth out put it on foil leave it for 10-30 minutes till it smells perfect (if it doesn't already) and you should be good to go. antouwan
yeah, eric said that 18 hrs. is usually enough time for it to acclimate, but it won't 'hurt' the tobacco if you leave it out too long. he said they use containers that don't seal well at all, which 'helps' he said, do it's constantly acclimating. personally, i bought some red tea a few days on monday and it's been acclimating since then, and it just keeps smelling better, i plan on just leaving it out...
