Pretty Mad At Mnhookah, But Not Anymore.

Well my expierence with them has been great, unfortunatly when my girlfriend told me she wanted to get me a hookah related present and where to order from I told her MNH so far its been pretty bad expierence for her... And I mean its not totally been MNH Fault but it started to get aggrivating.

My girlfriend had a typo in her address it there was E in stead of an R at the end of her address on the keyboard the E is close to an R so its a common mistake and she didnt notice till like 5 days later there was no package. She sent MNH a e-mail saying there was a typo here is my address. they responded that it would be taken care of. Charged her card for shipping she didnt care.

Today roles around, they sent it to the wrong address again and are charging her card again and probably wont have it in time for christmas on top of that.

She has tried contacting MNH, no respond for a lack of better words (dont really feel like going into it)

Come on look at the reputation of MNH on this board. It was A legitimate mistake. And during the holiday season I am assuming that they are getting a number or orders so they must be busy. It sucks that it had to happen to you.

I think the point being missed in my eyes, and what I'd bve upset about is being charged 3 TIMES for shipping, which is not cheap.

The second time fine since it was a user error and I know that I check my address like 8 times before I send any sort of order out, but to screw up the second CORRECTED order and charge even more shipping is not ok.

Thanks thats what my point is. My girlfriend and I have been trying to contact them all day. My girlfriend cant contact them anymore because she's working till 10 tonight. So I sent an E-Mail and hopefully this post is read. She doesn't mind being charged the second time (her fault for the typo)

it's common for things to get complicated if you screw up your own order. because your order will be set aside. websites get many orders everyday which goes through an automated system. they do not know you by first name, nor do they care.

so you should man up.

He should man up and do what? Take a loss on 3x shipping charges? The first time was obviously a user error, but for them to resend it to the wrong address is stupid. Mistakes happen, we all understand that - but to say that he should "man up" is ignorant, arrogant and disrespectful.

Very, very ignorant.

Also, seeing as how his girlfriend is not a man, manning up is quite impossible without a sex change, which is most likely out of the question.

Why is it her fault the third time, after re-paying for shipping the second time.

well first off i'm glad nobody is bashing jacks for having problems with mnh... i read his post earlier and was afraid he would get the 'your full of shit mnh is god' treatment... so far he's not thrashing them.... just stating his problem.

fact is... even our most beloved vendors arent beyond making mistakes. mnh should def eat the cost on that third shipment.... you should eat the cost on the first two.... i really hope they answer/get back with you soon.

tarik and ramsey do know alot of forum members/customers by first name and they do actually care, that is one of the things that makes them a great vendor

and sps im not saying jacks is thrashing them, hes not BUT i dont want this thread to end up in thrashing. the thing is its the holiday season and they are busy so just be patient and everything will turn out fine

the beauty of this forum is that one can talk out the issues they have with a vendor amongst their peers, and that is their privelege.

It's great to enjoy and support a particular vendor but everyone has a right to their opinion.

Not everyone has to loove every vendor that is popular. I've never had any experience with MNH so I can't directly chime in other than to say, yeah, historically they fix their problems, which is a great praise in the world of e-commerce.

I just want to say MNH has handled this very well and I still do have the upmost respect for the buisness and Tarik. It's just that there was miss-communication and confusion on my end and my girlfriends end.

Wow this got ugly fast. Look with their reputation they will make right but shipping attempt number three should be taken care of my MNH. Shipping #1 is a given, and since it was user error i can reasonably see then asking for shipping #2, but Shipping #3 came from their own actions so I believe that they need to take care of it.

Like I said its been figured out

I reacted way too soon

Me and Tarik talked about it over the phone my girlfriend was confused she saw a tracking number for DEC 15 and figured that was the 2nd shipment and saw that Tarik sent an E-Mail saying it was being sent out again today and being charged which is why she thought she was being charged a 3rd time

Confusion/ What ever its all being dealt with MNH did nothing wrong.
