Capt. Morgan
Just smoked my first bowl of Tangiers. Little bit rough at first at smoothed out really quickly. Amazing smoke, excellent flavor, and an awe inspiring buzz. Just like to say thanks to everybody on here for all the advice, tutorials, etc.

Capt. Morgan
QUOTE (sss8789 @ Dec 19 2008, 12:01 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>just got it working for me earlier this week thanks to everyone. what method did you use?I used a bastard version of MDL's method. Used a fork to fill it to the rim and then packed a little more on the top maybe a couple centimeters over. Did'nt have an oyster fork so just used a plastic fork and used a toothpick for the holes. Bulldog_916
Nice job. Welcome to the squirming masses of Tangiers fans. I was so close to smoking Blackthorn last night but I got too tired and passed out. Bowl is all packed and everything I just have to heat the coals and smoke later on. dafunk5446
Good job man, I was really lucky in the sense that I have not really had any problems with tangiers, short of not getting any flavor out of a couple different batchs. It really is a great feeling when you get it right, now you just have to work on consistancy.
ColibriDon
Grats! It's always a great feeling whenever you get a bowl of Tangiers going well. Great flavor, great clouds, great buzz; what's not to be proud of?
