Student Films Made By Me :)

Hey everyone,

I'm a telecommunication/communications major at Indiana University. I made a couple of films in the past couple of months and not only wanted to publicize them but wanted to see what you guys thought of them. Here they are:

The first one is a digital film made with a Canon GL-2. I entered this into the Ivy Film festival 48 hour competition. Pretty much, we had 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit a 5 min film. We are waiting on the results as they will be arriving in the next couple of days. The title is Confidential. The story is about a guy named Alex who gets a mission and must finish the task before time runs out.

The second one is a personal project for a film class that I am taking. We worked with 16mm B & W silent film. The title is A Not So Epic Rescue. It is about a guy who gets a ransom note which says that his girlfriend is held kidnapped. He must rescue her and defeat the villain.

The last film was a group project for the same film class. I came up with the idea and pitched it to the class, in which it got voted to be put into production. Again, it's 16mm silent film, but part of it is in color. The title is Narcoleptic Nightmare. The story is about a narcoleptic murderer who wakes up in random locations of his victims.

Hope you enjoy. Feel free to leave any comments. Thanks

Yo orange -

I checked out your films but I"m at work so i didnt have any sound. I'll definitely give them a closer look when i get home. The 16mm stuff was awesome looking dude, gotta be honest. Anyway, I'm a sound designer and music composer on the side - and have a pretty decent home studio setup. If you ever need sound effects or music for your films, please let me know! I'm extremely cheap and sometimes free, I'm just trying to get some practice ya know. Let me know if you're interested in some sounds!

Keep up the good work.
-Alex
