3 polls for ya!

Ok, lately my friends has been bugging me about shaving my facial hair off. But my response will always be fuck no. Why? I like facial hair, in fact whenever i shave off my facial hair, which is like once in about 3 or 4 months, i get this overwhelming feeling that I'm bald. Even when I have a full set of hair on my head! It feels weird for me being well shaven, it's unnatural. I like the feeling of coarse hair on my chin, it makes me feel manly.

But, I HATE moustaches. I just don't like how they look on me. So yeah, I shave my moustache off every week. And that's the only work my razor gets.

So what about you guys?

I like to keep my facial hair on. I have a very short (or as my friends call it "rough") beard. I love it. I hate shaving every morning so back in September, I decided it was time to grow a beard.

I trim it up every other day to keep the length uniform.

IMO, there's no reason to shave every day except for your job. wink.gif

Up until the end of this semester, I stayed clean-shaven because I had no idea how I would look with facial hair. On my chin, it is really spotty, so I end up just looking dirty rather than rugged after a week or so without shaving. When the semester ended, I decided that I really just didn't care anymore, so I started work on my dream look:

No joke. I have only been shaving my chin and neck, and after two weeks it is starting to take shape. I have not yet decided if I am going to be keeping it around when the spring semester begins. I guess it depends on how it looks at that point.

Hojo, you're frightening me.

I shave like twice a year and that's usually to appease my wife.

I typically have growth all over my face but keep it reasonably trimmed, usually just buzz it way down, although lately I've been letting it grow. The problem is that when I get past a certain length it makes my face look really fat so I never get a FULL beard.

And I still can't grow anything reasonably resembling a soul patch, all I've wanted since I started growing facial hair to begin with.

DAMN YOU LACK OF SOUL PATCH!!!!!!! (I think it means my soul has been sold?)

Do it, NOBODY grows the crazy facial hair anymore, I think its awesome, and if I could grow one I would (my native american heritage does not allow it though).

I usually shave when it starts to look bad or if I need to be clean shaven for something. I really like the look two days after I shave though. I had a goatee for a while I think I might try a beard soo.

Mustache, soul patch, goatee. I shave whenever I'm in the shower, pitch black, moisturizing cream and razor. Sometimes I shave twice a day if I have to do something in the morning and am going out at night, sometimes I go more than a day if I'm working on a paper or something.

I've had this 'look' for over a year now... probably going to go without facial hair next year, hopefully people will stop calling me "Johnny Depp" pirate.png Edited by gaia.plateau

I usually have some type of beard and mustache... I'm very rarely without both. I shave maybe a couple times a month, sometimes only shave every month or two... I'm lazy, and like facial hair.

Having a long beard, at least at the chin, is a great thing. If any yinz guys haven't done it, you should. I had my facial hair on my chin just over 6" at one time, and man was that fun hehe.

I can't wait till I have enough to grow a beard! I'm definitely going for some crazy shit throughout my life. I love seeing old ass dudes on harleys that have beards to their belly buttons that split down the middle on the highway and go over their shoulders. hahaha

Just remember to keep a towel and bucket next to the bed before you go down on your lady friends, so you can wring that mother out afterward.

I shave when I feel like it. I like scruff, but I can never trim it to how I like it, so I always end up shaving it all off and letting it grow until I think its too long again, and repeat.

Actually when I had it long I'd just braid it down out of the way, I still had to wash it out, but no more than I do now with my beard at 1/2" wink.gif

I grew my beard when I was about 25. At about 32 I cut it off. So many people told me how good I looked without the beard. "O' keep it off. You look so much nicer. I never liked the beard." So I grew it back tongue.gif My beard is my way of telling the world to mind it's own business.

I've got a moustache/goatee that's around 1/4". I trim it back down every month or so, or when it gets too long. I used to have the chin part down 6-8" and I miss it. The rest of my face I grow out until it itches then trim down to stubble with my beard trimmer (sans guard) but I don't clean-shave unless I have something to look nice for. Too lazy.

I have a baby face...only started bursting a crustache around 17 and chubes around 19...tried the whole "if you shave more, it comes in thicker!", MYTH.
So, once in a while I keep my mustache, otherwise I only need to shave the stache once every other week or so...
I always have my chubes(chin pubes)...gives me something to twirl my finger on whilst pondering and p0wning in my history classes.
Other than that, I keep a moehawk where only a few select ladies get to see.

My Set-up:
