Best Results....tangiers In A Mod Bowl

Hey Guys.

Just wanted to share something.

I get pretty good results with Tangiers in a phunnel bowl, but its still hit or miss. I must admit it has a lot to do with coals. When I have good japanese coals Tangiers in a Phunnel is just perfect.

But when I only have self lights, the best way I have found to pack Tangiers and get similar results is to get your biggest mod bowl and pack it really tight and about an inch high along the sides, leaving a significanct space in the middle around the small middle hole. I mean not just a pinky's worth but a big space.

Two selflights around the edges and its clear sailing and delicious flavor. Move em around every so often and I can get a really great session. Huge clouds too. I also like the fact that it waste's less shisha and its still a pretty long session but not three hours of Tangiers (which I can never do anyway, the nicotine is still a monster in that stuff).

I've tried this before, and it works very well. The downside is that the session is much shorter than using a Phunnel Bowl (obviously).

wow something ive never tried and actually a shorter session would be nice every now and then, thanks.

I've done this with an Egyptian bowl. Watch your heat. Use about half of what you would use on a phunnel. Probably less.

I first learned on a Hemi Bowl packing Tangiers. When I want short sessions I do that but if i am in the long haul, small phunnel.
